Laura's POV

“She's currently resting, there's a probability she'd wake up sooner, Sir.”

“Thank you, Doctor. I can go see her now, right?”

“Yeah, sure. But please, don't tell her something that might put her in stress once more. She needs to take a rest, she isn't supposed to be stressing herself.”

I kept hearing voices and sounds despite all I saw was darkness. My eyes were closed, I felt heavy, as if I couldn't move. My eyes fluttered open and shut themselves immediately. I managed slowly opening my eyes, to contain the rays of the light that plastered on the white ceiling.

Groggily taking in my surroundings, I'm met with a blur of white and beeping machines. I glanced at the other side, I saw an IV set which it's content was empty. it was hung on a drip stand.
