Laura's POV

“That's good, I'm glad you're here.” Mrs. Corazon said to me, pulling me close to her as my eyes wandered around for any sight of Eric, but he was nowhere nearby. Where the hell did he disappeared to?

“You know, you're making me remember Agatha.” Mrs. Corazon said again, pulling a chair for me to sit as she sat opposite me.

“Agatha?” I asked, quirking my brows and she shrugged.

“Yes, she travelled, remember? I'm saying you're making me remember her. She caused you a lot of problems didn't she?” She drawled curiously, sliding a potato in her mouth.

I chuckled inwardly as I parted my lips to reply her when Eric's voice came suddenly. “Mum, Dad isn't around?” My eyes followed Mrs. Corazon's own to see Eric approaching us.

“Don't tell me you've suddenly gone blind, Eric? Did you see his car parked outside?” Mrs. Corazon muttered, and I trusted myself to chuckle seeing Eric's expression as he rolled his eyes.
