Third Person's POV

Aero looks up from his laptop when Lexon enters the office. He watches him for a moment before looking at the monitor again.

“I know you don't understand because you don't have a mate. I was like you once. Before I found Jace, I never understood the mate bond. But now I have a mate. I have Jace, and he's everything to me.

You know Jace. You know what he's been through. You know what kind of person he is. He is sweet and fragile. He has a big heart and cares about everyone, even you. How can you want me to be like you and drink from others and fuck all these humans as you do? You know what that would do to Jace! Do you really want me to hurt him? Do you really want me to destroy that little Omega? Because that's what it would do! He would feel it. It would hurt him! It's not the same for me anymore. I have a mate, not just a chosen partner, who will share in the same feeding and sexual habits. He has a part of my soul, and I have a part of his. Our relationship run

Third Person's POV Evelyn growls in frustration. She charges the stupid vampire again and grunts when he kicks her in the stomach and shoves her to the side. Evelyn lands on her knees and catches herself with her hands and grunts. Her head snaps around, glaring at the long blonde-haired asshole. She growls as she reaches for her thigh, pulling a small blade and chucking it at his face. Lexon smirked, quickly reaching up and catching it with his bare hand. Blood dripped down his arm from the blade slicing his hand, but he didn't flinch, nor did he move his hand that was still in front of his face. “Is this how you fight when you three sneak off and take the adult business into your hands? It's a miracle you're still alive!” Lexon snapped, and Evelyn roared as she pushed herself off the ground and charged the elder. She screamed as she leaped off the ground, legs wrapping around the Elder's waist and her hands going around his throat. Her claws sink into his neck as she screams in his

Third Person's POV “N-Nadja?” His soft and delicate voice calls out from the darkness, a short distance away. Lying on the ground, Nadja turned his head in the direction the voice came from, even though he couldn't see anything, not even his hand if it was in front of his face. “Yes, Roman,” The Elder said before coughing. His throat was so dry it felt like sandpaper scratching his throat as he spoke. “D-Do you t-think they will f-feed us today?” The Omega holds his stomach, which aches so much. “I don't know. I hope so.” “I-its b-been so long… N-never w-went this long,” Roman said, and Nadja closed his eyes. The young Omega is right. This is the longest they have gone without feeding either one of them. He can hear the desperation in the Omega's voice. He can hear how hungry he is every time Roman's stomach growls. The sound of metal clinking echoes loudly through the cells, and Nadja’s head snaps in its direction. Hope fills Nadja and Roman. The Elder shields his eyes when blind

Third Person's POV Coal stares daggers at his father from the bench. His left arm hurts like a bitch, and his muscles throughout his body throb. He made the mistake of getting lippy with Xavier, and his father put him on his ass and nearly broke his arm. His muscles twitch, dying to get back out there and fight. The Alpha tribrid stands but quickly sits back down when his father's voice booms. “Sit your ass right back down! You're done for the day!”Xavier turns back to Micah, and the Submissive Delta 1 takes his place. As Micah begins circling Xavier, Tate charges Marcus. The world briefly spins before the Alpha bear grunts as his back hits the ground. Tate's not even sure what the hell kind of move that was. The retired Commander grabbed hold of his head, flipped him over his body, and spun him before slamming him on the ground. The young Alpha grabbed his neck, making sure his head was still attached to his body. He wheezed before coughing. “Fuck!” Tate cursed as he pushed h

Third Person's POV Time seems to stand still in the blinding pitch-black darkness where you can't even see your hand in front of your face. Nadja has no idea how many hours have passed or how many times the sun has risen and set since they took Roman. This is the longest he's ever been gone, and the elder is becoming scared he may never see the little Omega that he promised one day he would save The Elder squeezes his eyes closed, and his shoulders shake as he cries. For the first time, his tears have finally run dry. Nothing rolls down his cheeks as he cries. He barely remembers what it feels like to drink water or even a piece of bread. Nadja no longer has the strength to lift his head. It's been so long since he's even had the urge to pee. The Elders's heart leaps in his chest at the sound of loud metal locks clicking, echoing through the cells. He squeezes his eyes closed when the bright, blinding lights flash on. The Elder is eager to see. He forces his eyes open, squinting,

The Omega moaned and looked at his glass for the 10th time, shocked at how good it tasted. He looked over his shoulder as he held the glass close to his chest, shielding it from his stupid Alphas. Michael chuckled and shook his head when he saw and heard Noah's thoughts. “Baby, I'm not going to take your drink tonight. We're in our own home, and this is your night. Drink as much as you want, and I'll take care of you later,” Michael said. Noah's breath caught in his throat, and his lip trembled as he tried to hold his tears back. He was so moved by his Alpha's words that he was moments away from sobbing. Michael looked at the Omega dancing on his kitchen table with a wooden spoon to hi

Third Person's POV Ethan sang as he swayed his hips while stirring the sauce. The Omega moved fluently through the kitchen as if it were his own. He opened the cabinet and pulled seasonings down before instructing Hughes to grate a parmesan wedge into a bowl.“Everywhere I go, I'm spottedAnd everything I want, I got it5'5 with brown eyesSmile like the sunrise,” Ethan sang as he turned to the breaded chicken. “Noah, I think the song is about you when it comes to height! Your ass is short as fuck!” Ethan said and then flinched a moment later when a bread roll bounced off the back of his head.“You're just abnormally tall for an Omega!” Noah fired back and then frowned when Ethan laughed. Noah's frown turned into a smile when Claudius placed a twisty cream soda in his hand. “Alexander has done great. He rules a bit firmer than I did, but he's a great Alpha.” Hughes said as he spoke to Michael and Asher. “Whenever he gets too hard, Renee grounds and softens him.” Claudius chimed in

Even after all these years, it still angers him that someone hurt Jace. The Elder leans down and kisses the largest scar. The Omega hums as he begins to wake up. Lexon's fingers trail down along the Omega's back before gliding over the rise of his bare ass. The Omega hums louder as his body begins to move. The Elder's hand caresses the roundness of the Omega's ass, loving the way it feels in his palms. His hand moves lower, lightly trailing along the back of Jace's thigh and stopping at the tender spot behind his knee. Lexon kisses the small of Jace's back as his fingers slide between his thighs and begin making their way up. The Omega bites his lip and whimpers as ex

Third Person's POV Grayson sat in the hall with Sebastian, waiting for his dad to give birth. He couldn't wait to find out if he was getting a little brother or a little sister. Everyone looked toward the door when they heard Julian yell. “I don't need more pillows, damn it!” Julian yelled when Reid tried to stick the last pillow behind his back. It looked like the Alpha built a fort around Julian. He insisted his mate needed more pillows, so he went through all the empty rooms and took every pillow he could find.Julian finally snapped when Reid tried to stick a fourth pillow behind his back. The Omega yelled as he chucked the pillow at Reid. The nurse giggled, and the doctor laughed as they began digging Julian out.“Never a dull day when an Alpha’s mate goes into labor!” The nurse giggled, and Reid blushed as he scratched the back of his neck. Reid looked at his mate and tilted his head. The gears in his brain were turning as he tried to figure out what he could do differently.

The contractions began as soon as Reid passed the title to their son. The Omega was already overdue. The stress on his body from losing the position as Luna triggered labor. Becoming an Alpha or Luna makes you stronger. But when you pass it on to someone else, it makes you weaker, putting your strength to what it once was. When an Alpha transfers the title, it automatically strips the Luna of their title. The only time this doesn't happen is if their mate dies and a new Alpha isn't in power. As soon as a new Alpha takes the position it strips the current Luna from their position. As soon as Julian was stripped of his title, his body became weaker, making him no longer able to carry the baby any further, triggering labor. They were both prepared for it, and the doctor was already on standby. Reid heard Julian gasp before he heard

Third Person's POV There are so many people there, way more than Sebastian expected. The submissive Delta 3 had never seen so many people gathered in one place. His nerves were through the roof; he couldn't stop fiddling with his fingers or chewing on his lip. He was scared. He wants to be brave. He wants to be strong for Grayson, but he's not sure he can. There's just too many people. He can smell the Alphas in the crowd, and it terrifies him. His muscles twitch, begging him to kneel. How embarrassing would that be? The Delta thought. To drop down and kneel like a pet right there on stage in front of everyone. What kind of Luna would he be? He hears Xavier speaking to their people before Damien takes the microphone and gives his speech. When the Beta is finished, the Alpha of Midnight Moon Pack, the Alpha King, steps forward and takes the microphone. His strong voice rings out, reaching far across the crowd as he speaks. Alpha Reid stands on stage tall and proud, looking out at his

Third Person's POV Darien stood in the closet, buttoning his shirt. His mind raced with all the different scenarios of things that could go wrong. He tried not to think of it but couldn't stop his thoughts from racing. What if they didn't like him? What if they hated the fact he was a submissive Alpha and thought he wasn't good enough for their brother? His thoughts spiraled out of control. He had just finished buttoning the last one and gasped when Wyatt suddenly appeared behind him. His strong chest crashed against his back as his arms quickly wrapped around him. Darien smiled as he tilted his head, giving his Alpha access to his neck, which he quickly accepted. Wyatt buried his face against his skin, nuzzling and kissing him.“You're right, maybe we shouldn't go. Maybe we should just lay in bed and snuggle all night. I'm having withdrawals; I need to drown myself in you,” Wyatt's voice was muffled with his lips pressed against his mate's neck. Darien's heart fluttered when the Al

Third Person's POV Grayson's laptop was long forgotten on the little table next to him. The Alpha lies on his side in the daybed, staring at his mate. He loves the Delta's smooth, pale skin and the way his dark, straight hair lies against his forehead. He loves how he chews on his lip while he reads and tilts his head when he doesn't understand something. He loves the time they are spending together, quietly sitting beside each other outside on the balcony, sharing the silence. “So… My job wouldn't be to fight for our people?” Sebastian's soft voice broke the silence. Grayson's heart swelled when he called them “our” people.“No. Your job as Luna is to make sure everyone who cannot fight gets to safety in the event of an attack. We have several bunkers. Normally, we use the two bunkers in the basement of the pack house. In extreme cases, we use the large one under the field beside the pack house, but we haven't used it in a long time. That one is big enough that everyone in the pack

The book Sebastian was reading suddenly goes flying as Grayson grabs him from the sofa chair and falls back against the couch, wrapping him tightly in his arms. Sebastian laughs as Grayson buries his face in his neck, and his light stubble tickles his sensitive skin.Grayson's heart swells; Sebastian's laughter is music to his ears. He takes a deep breath in of the Delta 3's incredibly sweet scent, and his chest rumbles in satisfaction. The sound coming from his Alpha sends a shiver down Sebastian's spine. “I was studying,” Sebastian said, biting his lip when he felt Grayson's warm breath fan his neck. “It was taking too long! I feel neglected,” Grayson mumbled against his neck, and Sebastian's stomach fluttered. The Delta 3 pulled his head back and looked at Grayson. “I didn't mean to negl

He reaches up to knock on the door but pulls his hand back and exhales, letting his hand drop to his side. Ezra hangs his head as he turns to walk away, but the door suddenly opens. “Leaving so soon?” Lexon said, and Ezra slowly turned to face him. When Ezra looked at Lexon, he was relieved to see how well he looked. His skin looked completely normal, and his hair was just past his ears. “You look good,” Ezra said as he moved closer. He reached for Lexon's hair but paused when he saw Aero standing a few feet behind Lexon. “Come on in,” Lexon said as he stepped aside. Ezra swallowed before entering Lexon's room. When he entered the foyer, Aero turned and walked back into his brother's bedroom. Lexon nudged his head for Ezra to follow, and he did. As he entered the Elder’s bedroom, he found Jace sitting on the bed, watching a movie while crocheting. Jace looked

Jace grabbed Aero's hand and quickly dragged him to their bed, where Lexon lay asleep. “Should I wake him? He hasn't woken up since he came home. I tried to give him blood, but he said he was too tired and needed a nap. That was yesterday! He hasn't woken up yet! Should I wake him?” Jace said as he tugged at his fingers, looking between his mate and brother-in-law. Aero wrapped his right arm around Jace and ruffled his hair.“He's okay. He was just exhausted. His body is working overtime to heal his body. Your skin is the largest organ in your body. He was burned from head to toe. 100% of his skin was burned off. I can tell the difference already. His skin is no longer transparent, and his hair is beginning to grow. See, look,” Aero said as he pointed to the stubble growing on Lexon's he

Third Person's POV Darien was excited but nervous. It was not only the first time he'd cooked in two years but also the first time he'd cooked for Wyatt. Wyatt's nose immediately flared as he entered the apartment. His eyes darted around as he closed the door and didn't stop until they landed on Darien. His eyes moved from Darien to the kitchen table, and his lips parted. For a moment, Wyatt is unable to move or speak. His lack of movement makes Darien even more nervous, and realizes he made a mistake. “I, I can make something else if you don't like spaghetti and meatballs. I, I should have asked you first if you liked it. I can whip something else up,” Darien said as he picked up his plate and Wyatt's. Wyatt was beside him instantly and took the plates from his hands. He set them down before grabbing Darien's waist with his left hand and pulling the smaller Alpha toward him. “I love spaghetti! I was just surprised that you did this for me. I wasn't expecting it,” Wyatt said soft
