Third Person's POV

“They're going to get themselves fucking killed! We should have Giovanna put a bonding spell on Ezra. They can't raid any more locations if he can't teleport.” Silas slammed his fist on the table to drive his point home.

Lexon took a breath in before slowly letting it out.

“I'm not binding his powers. Besides, it would take Giovanna a while to come up with a spell strong enough to bind Ezra's powers. And even then, I don't think she's strong enough to do that. There's no one more powerful than him. The only person who comes close to strength is his brother, and that's not going to help us. Besides, his powers are almost fully matured. It's just a matter of time before Ezra's powers are at full strength. Once that happens, there isn't a spell on Earth that can bind him.” Lexon said, and Silas growled in frustration as he sat back in his chair.

The Elders looked at their phones when they beeped. “ It's Vincent,” Aero said as he and Lexon opened their laptops. Their eyes eagerly scanned the email. Lexon growled in frustration as he slammed the laptop closed. Aero let out a breath as he sat back in his chair. He felt his brother's frustration, which was higher than his.

“He wasn't there, was he?” Silas asked, already knowing the answer just by their reaction. Out of all the locations in the past few years, they had high hopes that the location in North Carolina would be where they were holding Nadja. The compound is massive and highly guarded. It took them months to find its location, and Vincent spent almost as long training so he could pass as one of them.

“I know it sucks that he's not there. But we still need to attack. You saw it! This is the largest number of newly taken humans we've ever come across. If we get them out now, we can wipe their memory and send them home.” Aero said, and Lexon stood up and turned to look out the window. He closes his eyes and tries to feel for Nadja, but he's not there. He tries to listen for his call, but it's empty. He searches further, trying desperately to send a message to him. A message that he'll never give up. A message that he'll keep looking for him, even if it takes a thousand years.

“Let's go,” Lexon said, and Silas and Aero were on their feet and following the Elder out the door.

….

Ezra stands in the dark corner of his bedroom, staring at him. He knows he's okay now and can see he's okay, but he can't bring himself to leave just yet. It's as though his mind isn't convinced he is okay.

Growing up, Ezra always felt as though he had three parents. Silas was always there. Not a day passed that he didn't see Silas at least once. His parents taught him a lot, but Silas taught him how to be a vampire—but not just any vampire, the next vampire King. Almost everything he knows about the Vampire world he learned from Silas. He's a second father, and he was just hurt and almost died.

Silas begins to stir, and Ezra pushes away from the wall and steps closer, stepping out of the Shadow.

“You know the shadow wasn't hiding you. As a shadow dweller, I can see into the shadows,” Silas said, opening his eyes.

Ezra exhales as he drops his head. The soon-to-be vampire King doesn't stand tall like he usually does. His shoulders are slumped, and his head hangs low.

“Come here,” Silas said, and Ezra's feet began to move on their own. When he was close enough, Silas patted the bed, and the worried vampire sat down on the bed beside him.

“Look at me, son,” Silas said, and Ezra lifted his head and looked at him.

“You can see for yourself; I'm okay,” Silas said, and Ezra hesitated before lifting his hand and placing it on Silas's forehead. His eyes turned red as he searched the vampire's body. His eyes returned to normal, and his hand dropped from Silas's face. The soon-to-be vampire King breathed out after confirming Silas's okay.

“I don't like it that you go with them,” Ezra said, and Silas tilted his head.

“Why do you have a problem with me going and not your father?” Silas asked, confused. Ezra has never liked it when he helps Lexon and Aero, but he didn't have a problem when Reid helped.

“Because my father is stronger. You're just a vampire. My father is the Alpha King with special powers.”

“I have powers, too!” Silas defended, insulted that Ezra thought he couldn't defend himself.

“I know you do, but my father is stronger because he's the Alpha King. You're like a father to me. I don't want anything to happen to you, just like I don't want anything to happen to my Father or Dad.

Silas sighs as Ian steps out of the bathroom. The Vampire reaches out and takes Ezra's hand, squeezing it.

“I'm sorry I worried you,” Silas said softly, and Ezra sighed.

“I'm glad you're okay,” Ezra said before leaning forward and kissing Silas's forehead. Ezra stood and nodded to Ian before leaving the room.

The Beta climbed into bed and curled up next to Silas.

“If you go and get yourself killed, Ezra and I are going to kick your ass once you're brought back,” Ian said as he rested his hand and chin on the vampire's chest.

“Hmmm, is that so,” Silas wrapped his arms around Ian and pulled him up higher. His right hand raises to trail his fingers along his mate's face.

“Yes, that's so!” Ian said before pressing his lips to Silas's.

….

Lexon stepped into the feeding room and immediately turned around, walking back out. He had hoped Aero was done, but the damn elder was still going at it.

The human under Aero loudly moaned, and her back arched as the Elder thrust into her while taking a cock down his throat. The human male grabbed Aero's shoulder to steady himself and whimpered when Aero's mouth was no longer wrapped around his cock.

Aero looked down at the female under him and squeezed her round, firm breast as he thrust into her. He rolled her nipple between his fingers, and she screamed as she came for the third time. Her body trembled and jerked, and he smirked as he pulled out of her. The human male that whimpered moments ago took a sharp breath when he was suddenly forced to the ground and turned into a pretzel with his leg spread open and his knees at each side of his head.

Aero slid his soaked cocked into the human, and he cried out in pleasure. The human cried out again when the vampire's fangs sunk into his thigh. Warm, delicious blood instantly filled the elder's mouth, and he groaned as he thrust into the human.

His eyes burned brighter as he watched each beautiful ribbon of cum shoot from the human's cock, painting his stomach white. He smirked against the human's thigh when one particular jet shot across the human's face, and he flinched.

Aero chuckled after extracting his fangs. He drew his hips back before slamming them forward. He growled when the human licked his own cum from his face.

“Do you taste good?” The elder's voice was like velvet, and the human shivered.

“Yes,” He panted, and the Elder hummed.

Aero ran his fingers along the human's stomach, soaking his fingers in his cum. The human's mouth opened as he sucked a breath, and he whimpered when Ezra brought those fingers to his mouth and tasted him.

The Elder hummed, and when his eyes snapped open, they were even redder. His fingers bruisingly gripped the human's ass as he drew his hips back. He was vaguely aware of Lexon's brief presence. He couldn't be bothered with the Elder; his orgasm was approaching.

Aero grunts as he cums inside the human. He pulls back and watches his come ooze from the human before sliding his cock back inside. His cock pulses again, and he grunts and moans as he comes to a stop.

Aero slides out of the human, and a satisfied grin sits on his face as he lets his eyes roam the room. A sense of pride fills him when he sees the mess he's made of so many humans. They lay sprawled out on the ground throughout the room, panting and soaked with cum, both his, their own and other humans. The room had become one giant orgy not too long ago, and the Elder made sure to have a taste of each one.

Aero lets his eyes move to the doorway where Lexon was not long ago. He shakes his head and feels bad for the Elder because he's stuck with only one person because of some stupid mate bond that they shouldn't have in the first place. Vampires are, by nature, sexual beings. It's just not right to be tied to one person and only to one person for eternity. They are meant to have fun and taste as many humans and other vampires as possible.

The Elder doesn't bother dressing himself. He stands up and leaves the room. He walks the hall with his head high and his shoulders back. He gets a rouse out of seeing the other vampires stare at his naked body, which still drips with sex. He can see their arousal as he walks past them and smirks. He reaches his destination and opens the door. Aero stares at Lexon as he walks to his desk and sits down. The elder's face is buried in his laptop. His nose flares before crinkling. His head snaps in his direction, and he rolls his eyes.

“For fuck sakes, Aero! Really?!”

“What's wrong?” Aero says as he folds his arms across his chest.

“Don't play stupid with me! Why did you come here like that?”

“To show you what you're missing! It's not right for a vampire to be stuck with just one person. You can have your pick of any human or vampire, and as many of them as you want, and yet you choose just one… Why?”

“Because, unlike you, I am grateful for my mate and cherish him. There isn't another being on this planet I would ever consider touching! Now get the fuck out of here and take a shower before I throw your ass out! You fucking reek!” Lexon said as he slammed his laptop closed and stormed out of the office. The Elder gave up on working today. The office will reek of sex for the rest of the day.

Aero stares at the door for a moment before sighing. “Have it your way. More for me!” The Elder mumbled to himself as he left the office.

As Aero approached his room, he grabbed the vampire that was eyeing his cock and pulled him into his room.

He watches him for a moment before looking at the monitor again. “I know you don't understand because you don't have a mate. I was like you once. Before I found Jace, I never understood the mate bond. But now I have a mate. I have Jace, and he's everything to me. You know Jace. You know what he's been through. You know what kind of person he is. He is sweet and fragile. He has a big heart and cares about everyone, even you. How can you want me to be like you and drink from others and fuck all these humans as you do? You know what that would do to Jace! Do you really want me to hurt him? Do you really want me to destroy that little Omega? Because that's what it would do! He would feel it. It would hurt him! It's not the same for me anymore.
