Chapter 8

Third Person's POV

“N-Nadja?” His soft and delicate voice calls out from the darkness, a short distance away. Lying on the ground, Nadja turned his head in the direction the voice came from, even though he couldn't see anything, not even his hand if it was in front of his face.

“Yes, Roman,” The Elder said before coughing. His throat was so dry it felt like sandpaper scratching his throat as he spoke.

“D-Do you t-think they will f-feed us today?” The Omega holds his stomach, which aches so much.

“I don't know. I hope so.”

“I-its b-been so long… N-never w-went this long,” Roman said, and Nadja closed his eyes. The young Omega is right. This is the longest they have gone without feeding either one of them. He can hear the desperation in the Omega's voice. He can hear how hungry he is every time Roman's stomach growls.
