Third Person's POV Like last time, the drive was long. But eventually, the gate came into view, and a familiar guard approached their window. “Well, look who's back! I take it you enjoyed your purchase so much you're back for more?” The guard said and chuckled. Grayson laughed as he nodded. “I most certainly did! He's a well-behaved pet, that's for sure! Whoever had him trained him well.”“I'm glad to hear that! I see you brought back the guy with a personality,” The guard said as he ducked his head lower and looked past Grayson to Coal. Coal gave an obvious fake smile as he rolled his eyes at the guard, causing him to laugh. “I like this guy! He doesn't pretend to like me like everyone else.” The guard said as he pointed at Coal.“And who's this?” The guard asked as he looked further into the limo and spotted Wyatt. “This is a good friend of mine, Keith Walters. I was told he would be added to the list,” Grayson said as he handed his and Coal's invitations to the guard. “I'm go
Third Person's POV They look at the stage as bidding begins on the last Omega remaining in the first group. “Tate, I need you to get out of this room and try to link someone, anyone,” Grayson said through the link.“Won't that look suspicious?”“No, because only you are leaving. If anyone asks, just say you're going to the bathroom.”“And what happens if I leave this room and still can't reach anyone?”“Then make up an excuse to go outside,” Grayson said. As the bidding on the last Omega ended, Coal stood up and quietly left. Grayson prayed that whatever was wrong with the link was just limited to the auditorium and not the entire building. “Well, this night's crowd seems to be a lively bunch! Look at how much fun we're having,” The announcer said with a smile. The announcer ignored the workers cleaning the blood from the stage and began talking. “Before we start with the next round, we're going to do something we've never done before. I'm going to bring out something incredibly
Third Person's POV Grayson's heart pounds in his chest as he watches the room full of Alphas chant to sell Wyatt with the submissive Alpha. Grayson's eyes darted around the room. There were too many Alphas! If he tried to save them, he knew he'd either end up dead or on that stage being auctioned off too. He's torn. If they can't get a link out to anyone, help will never come. The announcer's eyes move across the room, looking at all the Alphas as they chant to sell them as a pair. The announcer's eyes land on Grayson, and his head tilts. It was as if he saw something in Grayson's eyes. “Well, this is quite the request and very unusual. We don't typically sell our guests that are here to make a purchase. It's bad business, you know. It's not a good look for us. We don't want to scare our clientele away, afraid they might get sold too… But, this is a unique situation,” The announcer said, and Grayson's stomach dropped. He tried pushing on Coal’s link to see if he was able to link a
Third Person's POV All three Elders were shocked to feel the same poison coursing through their bodies that the underground feeding facilities used. They did not anticipate this since they weren't going up against their own kind. Therefore, none of them took the antidote. All three Elders took several bullets before they could react. Nadja throws his hand out, his arm sways outward as he does, and everyone in his path flies backwards. Lexon quickly enters one of the guard's minds in front of him and watches with satisfaction as he turns and shoots all the guards near him. At Aero's end of the hall, he forces his despair out, and the guns fall from their hands before they drop to the ground and cry. In a matter of minutes, all the guards are killed, and they turn to the prisoners who are locked in their cells. Nadja slowly walks down the aisle, pausing briefly at each cell door as he holds his hand against the lock until it snaps open. The Elder doesn't stop until the last cell is
Third Person's POV Addison's stomach dropped at his words. Before she could question how he knew her name, he began talking again.“You know it wasn’t easy. Killing the dragons took time, patience, and planning. I tried to have them join me. But they are too noble of creatures and too obsessed with gold to see the big picture. So, I came up with another plan. How’s the king's brother? He was a beauty, his exotic tan skin glistening with sweat during his heat. He cried so sweetly as the vampires ravenously fed from him. Royal Omega blood is such a sweet delicacy, so I’ve heard,” the announcer said. Lexon grabbed Aero and held him back when he tried to lunge for the announcer.“You fucking bastard! I'm going to kill you, you asshole!” Aero yelled, his eyes burned red with rage. He tried to force his despair onto the announcer, but it didn't work. His sinister smile simply widened. His head turns, and his eyes slowly move to Ezra. “The King's brother looked exotic during his heat, but
Third Person's POV “Never! I'd rather die!” Addison yelled and began chanting as loud as she could. Everyone who was able jumped to their feet and braced for the fight to come. Just when they thought all the gunmen were down, several Alphas stepped out from behind the curtain and onto the stage with guns, and unloaded them into the crowd. Ezra had just finished healing himself and killed the last of the Alphas by melting their insides when many bullets hit his body at once. His arms flew up, and his body jerked like he was being electrocuted before Nadja stepped in front of him and began taking the hits. The Elder hissed before Lexon and Aero shoved him out of the way, pushing Ezra and Nadja to the ground. They turned and used what was left of their powers to take out the armed guards shooting at them. Unfortunately, it was only enough to take out the four Alphas shooting in their direction and not enough to take out the ones with silver bullets, laying into the wolves. Aero col
Third Person's POV Traveling home wasn't as easy as getting there. With no one able to teleport, they had no choice but to use the limos in the parking lot. Lucian's painful wails were heard by everyone as the limo drove away. The Angel cradled his daughter's head against his chest as he sobbed into her hair. Grayson, Ezra, and Coal turned and looked at each other feeling defeated. Even though it was a victory, it was their biggest personal loss. The three had never experienced a loss so large. These great personal losses happened before they were born. With heavy hearts, they climbed into the limo. When the door closed, the vehicle began moving toward the front gate. Not even two minutes later, the gate comes into view, and Coal rolls down his window. “Go slow up here. I want to see something,” Coal told the driver, and the limo slowed as it passed through the gate. “Stop the car!” Coal exclaimed when he saw all the bodies of the guards lying on the ground. Coal stepped out o
Third Person's POV Grayson limps slowly down the hall. Every muscle in his body aches. He's not sure what that bastard did to him, but he felt himself dying. It was the worst pain he had ever felt, and he would be happy if he lived the rest of his life without ever feeling it again. He didn't recall the hall being so long. He swore it was shorter. He held his hand against the bullet wound on his stomach and gritted his teeth at the burning muscles when he used them to turn the doorknob and enter his apartment. The apartment was quiet and dark, just like he expected it would be so early in the morning. Sebastian is usually fast asleep and stays that way until at least 8:00 am. Sometimes, the little Delta will sleep until 9:30. Grayson wishes he could lay there and watch him sleep until he wakes up every morning. But unfortunately, duty calls him each morning and pulls him away from his mate. The Alpha is thankful he has the next few days off to recover. It gives him time to be with
