Third Person's POV

Grayson hung up the phone and smiled as he looked around the conference room.

“Well, it looks like you're tagging along,” Grayson said to Wyatt, who was eagerly looking at him and hoping he could get him in. The Alpha jumped out of his seat and fist pumped into the air, excited to go on his first mission.

“How is it he lets him come without a physical invitation, but neither of us could?” Coal asked.

“Because I'm more charming than you,” Wyatt joked, and Coal rolled his eyes.

“Actually, he was impressed with my first purchase. He said since my blood was rich and my money was good, he'd put one guest on the list for me just this once.

We need to get him a fake ID. They won't let him in without it.” Grayson said, and Xavier nodded.

“I'll have one ready an hour after our meeting,” Xavier said as he typed notes into his laptop.

The Alpha paused and looked up. He looked at Wyatt and narrowed his eyes.

“Are you sure his fathers and that little fluffy ninja are okay

Third Person's POV Like last time, the drive was long. But eventually, the gate came into view, and a familiar guard approached their window. “Well, look who's back! I take it you enjoyed your purchase so much you're back for more?” The guard said and chuckled. Grayson laughed as he nodded. “I most certainly did! He's a well-behaved pet, that's for sure! Whoever had him trained him well.”“I'm glad to hear that! I see you brought back the guy with a personality,” The guard said as he ducked his head lower and looked past Grayson to Coal. Coal gave an obvious fake smile as he rolled his eyes at the guard, causing him to laugh. “I like this guy! He doesn't pretend to like me like everyone else.” The guard said as he pointed at Coal.“And who's this?” The guard asked as he looked further into the limo and spotted Wyatt. “This is a good friend of mine, Keith Walters. I was told he would be added to the list,” Grayson said as he handed his and Coal's invitations to the guard. “I'm go

Third Person's POV They look at the stage as bidding begins on the last Omega remaining in the first group. “Tate, I need you to get out of this room and try to link someone, anyone,” Grayson said through the link.“Won't that look suspicious?”“No, because only you are leaving. If anyone asks, just say you're going to the bathroom.”“And what happens if I leave this room and still can't reach anyone?”“Then make up an excuse to go outside,” Grayson said. As the bidding on the last Omega ended, Coal stood up and quietly left. Grayson prayed that whatever was wrong with the link was just limited to the auditorium and not the entire building. “Well, this night's crowd seems to be a lively bunch! Look at how much fun we're having,” The announcer said with a smile. The announcer ignored the workers cleaning the blood from the stage and began talking. “Before we start with the next round, we're going to do something we've never done before. I'm going to bring out something incredibly

Third Person's POV Grayson's heart pounds in his chest as he watches the room full of Alphas chant to sell Wyatt with the submissive Alpha. Grayson's eyes darted around the room. There were too many Alphas! If he tried to save them, he knew he'd either end up dead or on that stage being auctioned off too. He's torn. If they can't get a link out to anyone, help will never come. The announcer's eyes move across the room, looking at all the Alphas as they chant to sell them as a pair. The announcer's eyes land on Grayson, and his head tilts. It was as if he saw something in Grayson's eyes. “Well, this is quite the request and very unusual. We don't typically sell our guests that are here to make a purchase. It's bad business, you know. It's not a good look for us. We don't want to scare our clientele away, afraid they might get sold too… But, this is a unique situation,” The announcer said, and Grayson's stomach dropped. He tried pushing on Coal’s link to see if he was able to link a

Third Person's POV All three Elders were shocked to feel the same poison coursing through their bodies that the underground feeding facilities used. They did not anticipate this since they weren't going up against their own kind. Therefore, none of them took the antidote. All three Elders took several bullets before they could react. Nadja throws his hand out, his arm sways outward as he does, and everyone in his path flies backwards. Lexon quickly enters one of the guard's minds in front of him and watches with satisfaction as he turns and shoots all the guards near him. At Aero's end of the hall, he forces his despair out, and the guns fall from their hands before they drop to the ground and cry. In a matter of minutes, all the guards are killed, and they turn to the prisoners who are locked in their cells. Nadja slowly walks down the aisle, pausing briefly at each cell door as he holds his hand against the lock until it snaps open. The Elder doesn't stop until the last cell is o

Third Person's POV Addison's stomach dropped at his words. Before she could question how he knew her name, he began talking again.“You know it wasn’t easy. Killing the dragons took time, patience, and planning. I tried to have them join me. But they are too noble of creatures and too obsessed with gold to see the big picture. So, I came up with another plan. How’s the king's brother? He was a beauty, his exotic tan skin glistening with sweat during his heat. He cried so sweetly as the vampires ravenously fed from him. Royal Omega blood is such a sweet delicacy, so I’ve heard,” the announcer said. Lexon grabbed Aero and held him back when he tried to lunge for the announcer.“You fucking bastard! I'm going to kill you, you asshole!” Aero yelled, his eyes burned red with rage. He tried to force his despair onto the announcer, but it didn't work. His sinister smile simply widened. His head turns, and his eyes slowly move to Ezra. “The King's brother looked exotic during his heat, but

Third Person's POV “Never! I'd rather die!” Addison yelled and began chanting as loud as she could. Everyone who was able jumped to their feet and braced for the fight to come. Just when they thought all the gunmen were down, several Alphas stepped out from behind the curtain and onto the stage with guns, and unloaded them into the crowd. Ezra had just finished healing himself and killed the last of the Alphas by melting their insides when many bullets hit his body at once. His arms flew up, and his body jerked like he was being electrocuted before Nadja stepped in front of him and began taking the hits. The Elder hissed before Lexon and Aero shoved him out of the way, pushing Ezra and Nadja to the ground. They turned and used what was left of their powers to take out the armed guards shooting at them. Unfortunately, it was only enough to take out the four Alphas shooting in their direction and not enough to take out the ones with silver bullets, laying into the wolves. Aero coll

Third Person's POV Traveling home wasn't as easy as getting there. With no one able to teleport, they had no choice but to use the limos in the parking lot. Lucian's painful wails were heard by everyone as the limo drove away. The Angel cradled his daughter's head against his chest as he sobbed into her hair. Grayson, Ezra, and Coal turned and looked at each other feeling defeated. Even though it was a victory, it was their biggest personal loss. The three had never experienced a loss so large. These great personal losses happened before they were born. With heavy hearts, they climbed into the limo. When the door closed, the vehicle began moving toward the front gate. Not even two minutes later, the gate comes into view, and Coal rolls down his window. “Go slow up here. I want to see something,” Coal told the driver, and the limo slowed as it passed through the gate. “Stop the car!” Coal exclaimed when he saw all the bodies of the guards lying on the ground. Third Person's POV Grayson limps slowly down the hall. Every muscle in his body aches. He's not sure what that bastard did to him, but he felt himself dying. It was the worst pain he had ever felt, and he would be happy if he lived the rest of his life without ever feeling it again. He didn't recall the hall being so long. He swore it was shorter. He held his hand against the bullet wound on his stomach and gritted his teeth at the burning muscles when he used them to turn the doorknob and enter his apartment. The apartment was quiet and dark, just like he expected it would be so early in the morning. Sebastian is usually fast asleep and stays that way until at least 8:00 am. Sometimes, the little Delta will sleep until 9:30. Grayson wishes he could lay there and watch him sleep until he wakes up every morning. But unfortunately, duty calls him each morning and pulls him away from his mate. The Alpha is thankful he has the next few days off to recover. It gives him time to be with h

Third Person's POV Darien stood in the closet, buttoning his shirt. His mind raced with all the different scenarios of things that could go wrong. He tried not to think of it but couldn't stop his thoughts from racing. What if they didn't like him? What if they hated the fact he was a submissive Alpha and thought he wasn't good enough for their brother? His thoughts spiraled out of control. He had just finished buttoning the last one and gasped when Wyatt suddenly appeared behind him. His strong chest crashed against his back as his arms quickly wrapped around him. Darien smiled as he tilted his head, giving his Alpha access to his neck, which he quickly accepted. Wyatt buried his face against his skin, nuzzling and kissing him.“You're right, maybe we shouldn't go. Maybe we should just lay in bed and snuggle all night. I'm having withdrawals; I need to drown myself in you,” Wyatt's voice was muffled with his lips pressed against his mate's neck. Darien's heart fluttered when the Al

Third Person's POV Grayson's laptop was long forgotten on the little table next to him. The Alpha lies on his side in the daybed, staring at his mate. He loves the Delta's smooth, pale skin and the way his dark, straight hair lies against his forehead. He loves how he chews on his lip while he reads and tilts his head when he doesn't understand something. He loves the time they are spending together, quietly sitting beside each other outside on the balcony, sharing the silence. “So… My job wouldn't be to fight for our people?” Sebastian's soft voice broke the silence. Grayson's heart swelled when he called them “our” people.“No. Your job as Luna is to make sure everyone who cannot fight gets to safety in the event of an attack. We have several bunkers. Normally, we use the two bunkers in the basement of the pack house. In extreme cases, we use the large one under the field beside the pack house, but we haven't used it in a long time. That one is big enough that everyone in the pack

Third Person's POV “I can't be a Luna; I'm just a Delta 3. All I know is how to be a pet. I don't even know how to be your mate,” Sebastian told Grayson before Ezra went to take down Luther. The book Sebastian was reading suddenly goes flying as Grayson grabs him from the sofa chair and falls back against the couch, wrapping him tightly in his arms. Sebastian laughs as Grayson buries his face in his neck, and his light stubble tickles his sensitive skin.Grayson's heart swells; Sebastian's laughter is music to his ears. He takes a deep breath in of the Delta 3's incredibly sweet scent, and his chest rumbles in satisfaction. The sound coming from his Alpha sends a shiver down Sebastian's spine. “I was studying,” Sebastian said, biting his lip when he felt Grayson's warm breath fan his neck. “It was taking too long! I feel neglected,” Grayson mumbled against his neck, and Sebastian's stomach fluttered. The Delta 3 pulled his head back and looked at Grayson. “I didn't mean to negl

Third Person's POV Ezra has been standing outside Lexon's door for several minutes, trying to get the courage to go in. He reaches up to knock on the door but pulls his hand back and exhales, letting his hand drop to his side. Ezra hangs his head as he turns to walk away, but the door suddenly opens. “Leaving so soon?” Lexon said, and Ezra slowly turned to face him. When Ezra looked at Lexon, he was relieved to see how well he looked. His skin looked completely normal, and his hair was just past his ears. “You look good,” Ezra said as he moved closer. He reached for Lexon's hair but paused when he saw Aero standing a few feet behind Lexon. “Come on in,” Lexon said as he stepped aside. Ezra swallowed before entering Lexon's room. When he entered the foyer, Aero turned and walked back into his brother's bedroom. Lexon nudged his head for Ezra to follow, and he did. As he entered the Elder’s bedroom, he found Jace sitting on the bed, watching a movie while crocheting. Jace looked

Third Person's POV Jace was concerned when Lexon slept the rest of the day, through the night, and into the following day.He was relieved when his brother-in-law knocked on the door late afternoon. Jace grabbed Aero's hand and quickly dragged him to their bed, where Lexon lay asleep. “Should I wake him? He hasn't woken up since he came home. I tried to give him blood, but he said he was too tired and needed a nap. That was yesterday! He hasn't woken up yet! Should I wake him?” Jace said as he tugged at his fingers, looking between his mate and brother-in-law. Aero wrapped his right arm around Jace and ruffled his hair.“He's okay. He was just exhausted. His body is working overtime to heal his body. Your skin is the largest organ in your body. He was burned from head to toe. 100% of his skin was burned off. I can tell the difference already. His skin is no longer transparent, and his hair is beginning to grow. See, look,” Aero said as he pointed to the stubble growing on Lexon's he

Third Person's POV Darien was excited but nervous. It was not only the first time he'd cooked in two years but also the first time he'd cooked for Wyatt. Wyatt's nose immediately flared as he entered the apartment. His eyes darted around as he closed the door and didn't stop until they landed on Darien. His eyes moved from Darien to the kitchen table, and his lips parted. For a moment, Wyatt is unable to move or speak. His lack of movement makes Darien even more nervous, and realizes he made a mistake. “I, I can make something else if you don't like spaghetti and meatballs. I, I should have asked you first if you liked it. I can whip something else up,” Darien said as he picked up his plate and Wyatt's. Wyatt was beside him instantly and took the plates from his hands. He set them down before grabbing Darien's waist with his left hand and pulling the smaller Alpha toward him. “I love spaghetti! I was just surprised that you did this for me. I wasn't expecting it,” Wyatt said soft

Third Person's POV Darien had a hard time falling asleep. He kept staring at the door and wishing Wyatt would walk through it. The minutes ticked by, and sleep refused to come. Darian glanced at the clock and decided maybe just a little peek would do. As quietly as he can, Darien pulls the blankets back and climbs out of bed. His sleep pants hang low on his waist, and his bare feet are silent against the wood floor as he walks down the hall. He pauses when he realizes the TV is on in the living room. But after a moment, he wonders if Wyatt fell asleep with it on. He didn't think he was watching TV; the sound was off. As quietly as he could, Darien walked into the living room. His heart raced, afraid of getting caught. He was relieved to find the Alpha fast asleep. His eyes were closed, and his lips were parted. He looked so peaceful, Darien thought as he stepped closer. He let out a quiet breath as he sat on the chair beside the couch. He put his elbows on his knees and rested his

Third Person's POV It felt so strange walking through town like a normal person again. It felt strange to be free. Somehow, the alpha next to him makes him forget how strange it is. The way his eyes sparkle with happiness as they walk hand in hand down the street. The way he opens the door for him, keeping his body between him and the road, showing chivalry, and making him feel special. It's something he never thought he would feel after what happened to him. He never thought anyone could possibly accept someone like him, but this man does. Wyatt does it so effortlessly. Darien smiles as Wyatt pulls him into another store. “What kind of art do you like?” Wyatt asked as he pulled him toward the wall of paintings “Maybe we can hang something behind the couch; what do you think?” Wyatt asked as he looked intently at the paintings, studying each one.“Um, I don't know. I think I like this one,” Darien said as he pointed to a large rectangular painting that would fit perfectly behind t

Ezra found out the hard way that wasn't the case. He remembers recognizing them, but He also remembers thinking they were insignificant. Whatever love he felt for them was no longer there. They were below him and an annoyance that he wanted to get rid of. He remembers what it felt like to hold Nadja's throat in his hand. He felt so powerful holding the ancient life in the palm of his hands.
