Nevea took Raven to Vlassta’s infirmary. He had lost consciousness a while ago, so she dragged him with her with a lot of effort.
Soon they arrived at the room with a metal wall and several small beds positioned in line with a bone-white curtain separating each bed. In the center of the room was a man with blonde hair wearing a white coat with a stethoscope circling his neck. He was facing the window, seeming engrossed in watching the giant tree outside the building.
Nevea knocked on the door softly, making the man look at him. “I am sorry to bother you, Dr. Dixon, but Raven needs help.” Nevea pointed at Raven with her head.
Dr. Robert Dixon was a doctor in Vlassta for as long as she could remember. He was a vampire with the appearance of a forty-year-old man. The vampire walked closer and observed Raven closely.
“What happened to him?” Robert asked while helping Nevea to take Raven into the nearest bed.
“Mission fails, and we meet a strong unregistered vampire,” Nevea replied shortly. She raised Raven’s foot on the bed.
“Are you okay?” Robert scrutinizing gaze washed over her from head to toe, and he saw a mark on Nevea’s neck. “You should apply some cream to your neck to help it heal faster.” Robert pointed at the small cupboard around the corner, then added, “The cream is there. Apply it to your before you go.”
Nevea only nodded as she already knew what cream he was talking about. It was like a magic cream because all their scars could disappear with only one-time use. She wondered what was stopping Robert from selling his magical cream to the outside world. It surely would make him rich overnight.
After telling Nevea, Robert checked on Raven. First, he listened to Raven’s heartbeat and then touched several parts of his body.
“There is nothing to worry about. He only has a fracture on his hand.” Robert explained.
“Fracture?” She asked for confirmation. It was weird since she only saw Zach attack Raven on his neck.
“Why? Is something wrong?”
Nevea remained silent as she pondered whether to talk about her suspicions. “Nothing, Dr. Dixon.” She lied in the end. Nevea was unsure about her vision; maybe while she was not focused, Zach did attack Raven.
Robert crossed his arms in front of his chest. He knew Nevea was lying, but he could not do anything to force the truth out of her mouth. It was against the rule to perform an interrogation of fellow workers in Vlassta without concrete proof.
“Okay then, I will leave Raven with you.” Nevea bid her farewell hastily.
“The cream, Nevea,” Robert told her when she was about to step out of the door.
“Right,” she said awkwardly, then went to the cupboard.
Nevea took a tiny glass jar with a straight line crafted on the top of the lid. She felt the texture of the lid and thought about where this could possibly come from.
“Nevea?”
Robert’s voice immediately made Nevea open the jar and apply the cream to her skin. The cold sensation started to take over her body, and within a few seconds, the scar left her completely. Her neck became as smooth as a baby’s.
Afterward, she put the jar back and proceeded to leave the room. “Thank you, Dr. Dixon. Good night.”
It only took three minutes to arrive at the dormitory building. Nevea entered her room. She switched on the light and instantly went into the clothes hanger at the front of her bed to get her towel. She smelt like a lump of rotten meat.
Ring Ring~
Before she went into the bathroom, her phone rang violently. Without checking the caller’s name, she picked up the call.
“Hello?”
“We found no one in the location you give.”
Nevea held her phone away from her ear as Logan’s angry voice roared like a lion.
“Are you sure? I left him with a lot of wounds on his body. He should not be able to move around.”
“But he wasn’t here, Nevea. Are you playing with us right now? Or are you trying to protect someone like you did when you were a kid?”
Nevea pinched the bridge of her nose, trying to calm herself. “Allen is dead because we met another unregistered vampire, and he was the one who saved me back then.” There she said it. She had already told Zach that she would not protect him again.
“And you let him go like that? Did he ask you to do that, Nevea?”
“I shoot him multiple times using sacaflorous, Logan.”
“You did?”
“You don’t believe me, do you?” Nevea could taste the bitterness in her words.
“No, it’s just….”
“It’s okay,” Nevea said quickly. “I’m telling the truth; you can confirm it with Raven when he awakens. Good night, Logan.” Nevea ended the call. It was rude for a hunter like her to hang up first on the head of Vlassta. But she did not care at all.
After that, Nevea went to take a shower. She turned the shower, and the water poured over her head, washing away all the blood from Allen. She felt weird thinking that she and Zach kissed while her body was covered in someone’s blood.
Several minutes passed, and she was done. Nevea changed into an oversized t-shirt with short pants. Before resting her body, she remained silent for five minutes without thinking about anything. It helped her to sleep without the disturbance of nightmares.
Nevea then raised her blanket and went under it. She counted from one to a hundred and fell asleep at number eighty.
For the past hours, she slept soundly, but then she started moving around in her bed. Her face contorted in confusion as though she was thinking deeply in her sleep.
Nevea looked at her surroundings, changed from pith black into a vast, beautiful scenery filled with greens. Numerous gigantic trees grew taller, almost reaching the height of a skyscraper. It was clear she was somehow trapped in a forest.
The smell of the forest somehow gave her a peaceful feeling. It was like being enveloped in a big hug. Nevea took a long breath, inhaling the fresh and clean air.
‘If my dream is like this instead of the face of people I killed, I would be happy for the rest of my life.’ Nevea muttered as she strolled into the forest with a big grin on her face.
As she walked, Nevea realized something. She looked down at her feet and noticed that she was barefoot, but a blue rope rounded the center of her toe. The blue rope trailed until it reached her ankle. Not only that, but several flowers also seemed to bloom on top of it.
“What the fuck?”
With her character, Nevea would not wear something like that. It was too pretty and bright for someone pretty and dark like her.
After noticing the absence of shoes, she realized she was wearing a long dress with an uneven hem. She lifted her dress and cursed under her breath.
“This is crazy. I must be crazy for wearing something like this.” Nevea muttered and felt the dress on her body. Her shoulders were open, showing her collarbone. “It’s official. I’ve gone mad.” She spoke. Although she wore a dress occasionally, this princess dress was not for her.
As if her distress was not enough, suddenly, she caught sight of a man she did not want to see.
“Nevea.”
The way Zach said her name was so intimate that it made her quiver.
“Zach,” She called with the same intensity as he did.
‘The fuck? Why did I sound like that?’
Amid bewilderment, Nevea did not know why she ran toward Zach with a broad and warm smile on her lips. Her silver hair swayed left and right, moving according to the wind.
“You came,” Zach said as he caressed her cheeks tenderly. He tucked her hair behind her ears, and his hand lingered there, brushing her ear in a feathery touch.
Nevea was beyond confused in her mind, but her body always responded to him first before she could register everything. It was as if her body had its own mind, and her consciousness was just a spectator in this situation.
“I promised you, didn’t I?” Nevea answered softly. She hugged him tightly to share the longing that had been piled up in her heart.
Zach smiled contently as his hand moved to her waist, and he embraced her petite body. His head dipped at the side of her neck, inhaling her, trying to ensure that his woman was real. “I miss you,” he whispered, letting his lips brush her neck.
“I miss you too,” Nevea replied. She snuggled into his neck just like him and planted several kisses there as she pleased. “I miss you so much that I feel like dying.”
Zach chuckled in response and broke the hug. He took her small face between his palm and lowered his head so they could lock each other’s eyes. “How did you learn to talk sweetly like that?” He asked as he flicked her forehead.
“From a book in the library,” Nevea answered shyly
“Besides that, what else did you learn?” He played with her hair while staring at her intensely.
Nevea sealed her mouth. Her cheeks turned pink, and then she averted his gaze. “Nothing.”
“So, you have seen what couples do when they are madly in love.” Zach teased.
“OF COURSE, NO!”
Zach grinned viciously. “Follow me,” he took her hand and started moving into the deepest part of the forest.
“Where are we going?”
“You will see.”
They ran for five minutes before reaching their destination. In front of Nevea was a small cottage surrounded by different kinds of flowers.
“Our home,” Zach told her.
Nevea almost wanted to cry. They met in the forest and talked under the bright sky without anything covering their heads, so having a place to call home made her heart melt.
“No one will find us here, and no one will hear us,” Zach added.
“Zach,” she called, and she asked him to lower his head with her hands.
Zach complied, then Nevea kissed him all over his face. From his temple, his eyes, cheeks, then his lips. It was only a chaste kiss as Nevea pulled away from him.
“Thank you,” she whispered against his lips.
Zach’s golden eyes shone so bright as he felt the burn in his heart. The need to consume Nevea had grown incredibly fast with each passing day. They exchanged several kisses but never went beyond that.
“Nevea,” he said, her name breathlessly. He noticed innocent blue eyes looking at her curiously, waiting for him to continue. “All of you, please give it to me.”
There will be a strange wet dream part two. So, this is not over. Please give my book a lot of support. Thank You.
“All of you, please give it to me.”Nevea’s blue eyes grew larger, and her jaw dropped. She took a step back, “What?”“You’ve seen those kinds of books, and I want to do everything with you,” Zach said with a serious tone. He clasped her hands before she could widen their gap. “I want to touch your skin, feeling every inch of it with my mouth and tongue.” Zach’s eyes trailed all over her body.Nevea’s body trembled, not out of fear but something more potent and primal that she could not understand. “Zach…” She said as she leaned into his body.Zach’s index finger started wandering from her neck gently until it reached above the swell of her bosom. His golden eyes flickered with a dark glint. “I’ve been wondering how it would feel to touch one of your mounds.” He pocked her bosom lightly, which earned a beautiful moan from Nevea. A grin slipped from his mouth as her body responded to his touch as he wanted.“Haa….” Nevea gasped. Her eyes were glammed with passion. Zach’s touch was like
And Nevea jumped from her sleep. “Haaa…haaa…haaa….” Nevea's breath was laboring. Although her mind was muddled, she could remember every single thing clearly. She dreamed of Zach, not just an ordinary dream where she killed him. Instead, she had a real love-making dream with him. If that was not insane, Nevea did not know what it was. Nevea lifted the blanket from her body and stood up. She could feel the dampness on her panties, which proved that she had indeed experienced a wild activity with Zach in her mind. Her palm covered her mouth as disbelief washed over her. "Shit, I must be crazy." She cursed repeatedly and slapped her cheek hard until it left a red mark. She eyed her bed for a while before deciding to remove the bedsheet hastily as if she was afraid that someone else would be able to know her shameful act in the dreamland. Nevea cleaned her bed and herself to wash all the traces of her dream. After ensuring that everything was new, she heaved a sigh of relief. She
Zach sauntered his way up to the throne and sat down without caring about anything. He sat with his legs crossed and his elbow propped up on the arm of the throne. His face lacked interest, seeming bored with everything. He waited for Silas and Levi to come and offer their greeting. It hadn't even been a minute, but he could immediately make out the sound of his subjects sprinting toward his direction. "How I miss hearing this kind of sound." He spoke. In the past, it elevated him to witness his subjects run like mad people just to reach him. The entrance to the throne room cracked with a loud sound. Silas and Levi appeared in their disheveled state. Being a half-vampire was far different from being pureblood like him. While Zach could move thrice to ten-fold faster than the normal pureblood, the half-vampire still had to exert significant physical effort."Your Majesty," Levi and Silas said and immediately bowed before Zach. Their heads touched the cold floor. However, even after min
Nevea's breathing grew heavier as she stood in front of a metal door with the name of dr. Sara Reyes at the side of the door. She hated visiting Sara's office the most; it brought so many bad memories from her childhood. In the past, she was forced to sit in that damned office. Sara examined her over and over again until she was deemed to be okay to enter Vlassta. There never had physical pain, but the trauma was rooted in her mind like superglue. 'Sleep, Nevea, and everything you saw in the orphanage.' was the most used sentence from Sara. Every day for almost a month, she was coerced to witness that massacre and narrated it to Sara afterward. And during that time, Nevea's story never changed, not even when Sara took her hypnotism to a different level, which made her watch all the people who died because of her. She passed all the mental torture from Sara with the highest grade. Later she found out that most of the people who enrolled in the academy went through the same thing. The
After Nevea's last meeting with Sara, everything went well in her life. She enjoyed her mundane routine. Today was supposed to be the day Vlassta announced the group for the annual test. That was why hunters with experience of fewer than ten years gathered in the hallway, facing the big screen hanging on the wall. "I have a bad feeling," Lola whispered to her. Ever since Cristy and Nevea's confrontation, wariness never left Lola, even for a second. Nevea pinched Lola's arm playfully. "Don't worry. Nothing will happen." She turned her head in Raven's direction and smiled at him as she knew Raven was also worried about her. "But I—" Lola's words were cut short by the crowd's loud shout of cheer and annoyance. The screen had changed from pitch black to white, showing a list of names. There were ten different groups, and Nevea fell into group B with Cristy and Ryan. While Lola was in group E along with Raven and someone she had never heard of. Below the group name was the location for
Moving from Nevea, Zach observed Cristy and Ryan from another monitor. Those two people behaved sneakily. Soon two other people joined them, and Zach was certain they were cooking something stupid in their empty brains. The two people who joined Cristy and Ryan were two men with distinct features. The shorter man was bald, and the big man had long brown hair tied neatly in a bun. Zach zoomed in and looked at them closely. "Unregistered vampires, huh," Zach muttered. His fingers stroked his chin, thinking about what those hunters could be thinking. He would not bother with them as long as they did not mess with Nevea.Cristy grinned when she saw the two vampires in front of her. She could already imagine Nevea's sound of agony filling this empty forest. It would be her music theme for her victory. Just a little more and Nevea's existence on earth would remain a memory, but only if she were fortunate enough to live in someone's mind. Thinking about that made Cristy's body tremble from
The bald one struck an attack on her stomach while the other one held her neck captive. Their fangs bared, and eyes glowed red as the sweetest aroma of Nevea's blood invaded their nostrils. They were confident that Nevea was one of those who had high-quality blood, one that tasted heavenly. "I don't know your problem with that woman, but I will give you quick death after tasting your blood." The man with hair styled in a bun said. Nevea spit at his face; anger was palpable on her face. "I am not going to die. It's you." After saying that, she planted her blade on the vampire's neck, stabbing him repeatedly without mercy. Blood spurred to her face, yet she did not mind. Her goal was clear; she wanted the man before her to fall on her feet. The bald man was angered at Nevea's action. He jumped on her and slapped her cheeks, worsening Nevea's small wound on her lips; fresh blood flowed from the injury. "How dare you, human!" The bald man yelled. He eyed his partner lying on the ground
Around nine in the evening, Brett Floyd came to the hollow wood. He met Romy, the ground guard, at the forest entrance gate. “Evening, Mr. Floyd.” Romy greeted Brett politely. He averted Brett’s gaze. “Evening,” Brett replied. He looked at the wild forest shortly and spoke again. “I presume nothing bad happened, right?” “Yes. Everything is perfect, Mr. Floyd.” Romy let a lie slip out of his mouth. Besides two unregistered vampires that invaded the ground, nothing else happened. He believed the young vampire named Cristy would not do anything stupid. “Very well. Let’s check the ground then.” They strolled in the forest. Looking for the sign of the three hunters. The pungent smell of blood assaulted their senses as they got deeper into the woods. Several lifeless bodies were scattered on the damp soil. Brett paid no attention to those things, as it was expected to happen. Brett looked at his notes to see who was on the ground. “Cristy, Ryan, Nevea!” He yelled. However, his scream m
Gio looked up to see the beautiful moon shining brightly for them. Beside him was Efrain, who had taken off his black hood, showing his disfigured face. They were in the middle of the forest. New vampires they had turned before were put in the coffin. They were positioned in a circle. At the center was a flat stone, a place for Nevea.Efrain laughed, knowing he would get what he wanted in a matter of hours. Years of waiting in agony would be worth it. Efrain snapped his head to the back. “Ah, Zach and our fairy are already here,” Efrain mumbled. Then inhaled and exhaled through his mouth before focusing on making an illusion for them. That should be enough to make Zach busy. “What about Vlassta, Master?”“Release our warrior.” “Understood, Master.”***Nevea, Zach, and Vlassta moved inside the forest from different sides. Zach walked at the front while extending his hand to Nevea so they would not separate. Silas was also with them. He trailed behind Nevea. They had decided to l
"Everything has been settled, Master." Gio talked while sitting far away from his master. "Have you found out about the other fairy?" Gio's body tremored because he did not get a whim of the fairy who messed with their place. It only meant that the fairy was not as clueless as Nevea. Perhaps, the fairy was here on a mission. "Unfortunately, I can't find anything, Master."Efrain, the master, waved his hand in the air producing a strong wind that went in Gio's direction. The wind managed to slice the skin on Gio's cheek, yet his loyal servant did not budge from his seat. Gio received the punishment willingly since he was not capable enough. "Prepare the puppet and leave me alone." Efrain walked back and forth in his room. He had an inkling that the other fairy would ruin his plan. More importantly, he could guess that the fairy would do something unimaginable. For now, he was sure that the fairy wanted Nevea. "Zach, Vlassta, and now there is another fairy involved." Efrain slamm
Raven rubbed his eyes after seeing Nevea sleep peacefully on the chair next to his bed. The woman appeared to be peaceful. Her hair which had now changed to brown fell freely on her back. Her chest kept rose and falling in a steady rhythm. The view that greeted him brought a content smile to Raven’s mouth. Gathering all his power, Raven changed his position to sit and face Nevea directly. He watched her intently like a fool in love. Oh, right. He was indeed a fool in love. It felt like years since the last time he saw her. So against his better judgment, Raven extended his hand to reach for her and feel her cheek against his skin. The warmth made Raven’s smile bloom even more. He swore he could watch her like this for eternity. “Stop looking at my woman like that.” Came cold and dangerous to destroy all the fairy tales in Raven’s head. Raven looked past Nevea’s shoulder and found Zach leaning on the door frame with arms folded before his chest while his legs crossed together. Tha
After their talk, Nevea and Zach spend their time searching for a clue by hanging out in the library. First, they read each book that contains demons and fairies. But, all the information they got was far from what they had experienced. When they read the history of demons, it is always related closely to hell and another sort of religion. And about fairies, it was just a story of a bunch of cute little things. What they read was pretty much useless. Not even once they mentioned purity. Kindness was there, but the ridiculous rule about desire was not mentioned. At this point, they were desperate. There was no way of knowing if these things unless they got all the puzzles inside their head. Kiara was out of options because that woman literally ceased from earth. Not only Kiara but Jude also went missing. There was no trace of Gio either. “What about your human friend?”“Raven? There has been no reply until today.”“Your friend is useless. You should’ve let my people do their job in
Raven read the words on the tiny papers in his hand. Robert Dixon is working with The Bloody Movement. Don’t tell Logan until you get concrete proof. There was no sign of who wrote that note. It just appeared out of the blue three days ago. Since then, Raven could not look at Robert the same way. His mind filled with many speculations about that doctor. So, he began looking for a clue. “You’ve been staring at dr. Dixon for too long. Are you changing your preference after Nevea’s rejection?” Lola asked as she chewed her food. She had realized Raben’s strange gaze towards Robert since yesterday. At first, she thought that maybe Raven had something to discuss with Robert, but after seeing the intensity of Raven’s stare, Lola was not sure anymore that Raven wanted to consult with Robert. “Nonsense.”“Then why are you looking at him like that? You look like a creep.”“Don’t mind me; just eat your food,” Raven told her, then focused again on Robert. When Robert finally stepped out of
As if everything was not enough. A sudden mass of vampires came from each side of the corner, surrounding Nevea and Zach. The new vampires stared at them with intense killing intent in their eyes. Zach scoffed. The nerve that bloody movement people for making this stupid plan. He looked at Nevea, who had lost half of her consciousness while battling with her pain. He caressed her hair softly and then murmured. "I'll be back."After saying that, Zach immediately went into a complete killing machine. He slayed each vampire that tried to get close to him or Nevea. He brutally killed them without battling an eye. He smiled each time he ripped the vampire's head from its body. Despite the heavy scent of blood and the loud echo of their cry, Zach found that it brought him a sense of peace. It was like this is how it was supposed to be. Him killing everyone without mercy. "All of you should die." He said, then snapped the vampire's head. Since he was focusing on the front, one of the v
As the process was done, Gio and Robert left the container. Leaving Jude alone to deal with the rest of the task. Zach kicked the closet open and walked out without worrying that Gio and Robert would be back again. Nevea trailed behind Zach, still in shock that Robert was part of The Bloody Movement. "Where is their final destination?" Zach inquired while scanning the whole area again. "We will bring them to another container in Grouver." "Drive normally, and we will be right behind you."Jude obeyed. Once again, Zach and Nevea drove in silence. They followed the big truck that brought twenty new vampires to Grouver. The snippet of Robert and Gio's conversation still left a bad taste in Zach's mouth. He wondered who their master was because the master seemed to know a lot more than Kiara. Zach believed it would be good to meet face-to-face with the so-called master. "Do you think we should tell Logan about Robert?" Nevea probed the question that had been bugging her for a while
The pungent scent of antiseptic dominated the container. Around an hour ago, Jude helped them sneak in after the talk with Gio. Overall, their conversation revealed nothing significant. It was just a simple report about the number of humans Jude has.Gio left as soon as he confirmed Jude had twenty humans and reminded them that the transformation would be held thirty minutes before midnight. So now here, Nevea and Zach, stuck in a big closet with a small hole to see the outside of the area.Feeling annoyed at Zach’s constant movement, Nevea nudged him with her elbow and said, “Stop moving around, Zach. They will hear you.”“They won’t,” Zach replied nonchalantly while focusing on looking from the small hole.“What is happening out there?”“Nothing has happened yet. Your fellow humans are still lying miserably on their beds, waiting for their death.”“They won’t die. Tomorrow they will be your fellow vampires.”“Aren’t you going to help them? Save them from turning into a blood-sucking
“Where are we going?” Nevea asked when Zach started the engine. Yesterday, they made a deal not to talk about the whole ‘wife’ thing again until they got their memories back. Fortunately, after hugging him for a while, Zach regained his composure back. However, he still refused to talk about his feelings. “To hunt for the bloody movement. They are going to perform another transforming process today in Stormsire.” “How did you know that?”“I have my way.”The rest of the journey was spent in silence. Nevea didn’t bother to dig further into Zach’s informant and kept his mouth shut for the whole ride. Seeming not wanting to talk with her for even a second. When they passed the gate, the familiar views greeted them.Unlike the first time she visited, it was pouring hard this time, making the busy road turn silent. Only a few were wandering outside. Their car came to a halt in front of the bar. Zach’s elbow rested on the car’s window while his other hand gripped the steering wheel. H
