The reason had left Zach's mind when his lips landed on Nevea’s soft and luscious one. What started as fun turned into a heated one. He moved his lips hungrily like a beast. He took her lower lips in between his and nibbed them until she let out a whimpering sound.

For the first few seconds, Nevea rejected his advance as she kept punching his hard chest, yet he pinned her hands to the wall and started playing with her lips as pleased. As his lips moved against her, Nevea was compelled to give in.

Zach’s mouth curled into a satisfied grin as he felt her melt into him. Then, as there was no sign of struggle, he set her hands free and placed his hand on her waist. He could feel the passion building between them, and it only made him want to taste her more, feel her, and consume her.

Nevea felt his hand run through her hair, pulling her closer to him as he deepened the kiss. Nevea’s hand moved subconsciously to touch the lock of his hair, harshly tucked it hard until he winced and opened his mouth. She let her tongue enter his warm mouth to venture deep into him. Zach’s tongue also slipped into hers, and soon they were tangled together and fighting to win dominance.

Suddenly a burst of hunger for blood blinded Zach, and he bit her lips without mercy.

“Argh,” Nevea screamed, but it did not sound like she despised it.

Zach sucked her blood as if he had never had blood for a month. Her blood tasted heavenly. Nevea abruptly bit him back, drawing the blood from his as well. It was her petty revenge. The metal taste was on their tongue, yet they never stopped.

Nevea’s hand had started to move around his body, feeling the hard muscles on his body. It felt great, way too incredible. She could feel something pooling between her legs as his hand stroked her body from the waist. It moved higher and higher, then stopped below her swollen bosom. He lingered there and did not continue to venture.

Zach deliberately did that. He won’t touch where she wants to be touched. He would leave her hanging. His left hand then felt her ear tenderly caressing it.

“Zach,” She hissed subconsciously. She was burning for him. She wanted him in her now, or she would explode like a mess.

The smell of her arousal bombarded his nostrils, making him high.

While Nevea and Zach were too busy eating each other out, Raven stood behind them. He was beyond shock at the scene before his eyes. He wanted to think that Nevea kissed that man sorely for duty purposes. However, he knew that from the sound they made, it was clear they were savoring each moment.

Raven’s hold on his gun shook as he felt his heart break into two. He had always liked Nevea since they were still kids but never had the guts to confess to her. Sometimes he could sense that Nevea had a feeling for him, but he believed they experienced different feelings.

Watching her kissing another man was pure torture to him. “Nevea,” he called her softly in the hope that she could hear him.

Raven’s soft and gentle voice from her earphones made her feel like she was splashed with cold water. Instantly she opened her eyes and saw Raven standing there with a pained look. Her eyes then shifted to Zach, whose eyelids were still tightly shut.

‘You are fucking crazy, Nevea. Why would you do that?’ She cursed in her mind.

Nevea then lifted her hand behind Zach’s body, signaling Raven to shoot Zach. It was better to attack when Zach was in a delirious state. He would never expect her to recover from this earth-shattering kiss before him.

Raven mouthed an okay. He then lifts his gun again and shoots it into Zach’s chest without hesitation.

At the same time, with the sound of a rifle, Zach started to feel pain in his chest. He broke away from Nevea while touching his chest, which leaked fresh blood. He gazed into her intensely as if he wanted to kill her with his eyes.

“You just made a big mistake, Nevea.” Zach hissed. He could not believe that they were just exchanging a passionate kiss a while ago, and Nevea had ruined it by letting her partner shoot him. It was so hilarious that he laughed.

“Nevea, stay away from him,” Raven told her.

Zach looked over his shoulder, and without saying anything, he moved in a second and grabbed Raven by the neck. “How dare a lowlife being like you hurt this precious body of mine?!” Zach growled, his eyes gleaming with a dark glint.

“An unregistered vampire like you is much lower than me.” Raven talked back without knowing he had signed his death certificate paper.

Zach’s lopsided smile made its appearance as he choked Raven even harder. “You foolish little thing.”

This lowly human would piss in his pants if he knew who he was. “Initially, I want to give you a quick death, but your lousy mouth ruined your chance.” He slapped his cheeks, then added with a low and dangerous voice, “Break it. The bone on his hand, break it.” He instructed.

Raven did not know what happened, but abruptly he could feel his bones start to crack. Raven’s pupils moved anxiously as he realized the man was more dangerous than he thought. “H..how…”

“What a stupid question,” Zach replied.

Just when he wanted to snap Raven’s neck, Nevea fired another bullet into Zach’s chest and legs, making him go limp.

“Fuck.” He cursed and loosened his grip on Raven.

He watched as Nevea strolled in his direction. The fire in her blue eyes threatened to burn him, and Zach loved it. He was more than willing to be the subject of those burning flames. Zach was lying flat on the ground, waiting for her to come.

“Son of a bitch,” Nevea kicked his legs.

She stepped on his wounded chest, which earned her a hearty chuckle from him. “You shouldn’t touch him!”

“Why? Are you afraid to lose this worthless human?” Zach put his palm on his head, watching her seething.

“He did not do anything to you, and neither did I. We were minding our business, carrying our mission, but you are here to ruin everything.” She fired another bullet, this time at his stomach.

“Argh,” Zach screamed. He did know why it was hurting so much when Nevea shot him, while Raven’s bullet barely affected his body. “Stop it.”

But Nevea did not comply. Instead, she kept shooting him as she pleased. The sound of her gunshot and Zach’s scream was like calming music for her to sleep. As twisted as it sounds, she enjoyed every bit of the music.

The pain became unbearable to Zach’s body. His temple was sweaty as he tried to suppress the pain and heal faster so he could hurt Raven and make Nevea suffer.

“I am done protecting you, Zachary. I will tell Logan about you. We are done here. I don’t have a debt to you anymore.” Nevea had pressed an emergency alarm before she started attacking him, as she was not confident about getting out of the situation alone.

She loaded her gun again, preparing to give her last shot. “Don’t look for me, don’t come for my friend. If you did, I would look for a way to kill you myself.”

Zach could only laugh in pain, mocking her silly threat. “I can’t wait to see you walk beautifully to kill me.” He spoke.

‘We are five minutes away.’ Logan’s voice in her earphones made her calm.

“Goodbye,” she uttered as she fired the bullet into his heart location. With a sacaflorous gun, he should have been dead since the first shoot, but he was still breathing fine, so she aimed his heart. Who knows, it might help to keep him in this place until help comes.

Dor~

Excruciating pain penetrated Zach’s body. He groaned and cursed, yet he could still muster a sinister smile when he saw Nevea walk away with Raven.

“By the way, your kissing skill sucks,” Nevea said before disappearing from the place.

“Hahaha.” Zach let out another crazy laugh. This little girl of his was really strange.

After laughing for a solid thirty seconds, his eyes turned cold, and he stood up as if nothing had ever happened to him.

“You better start running for your life, little girl. If I ever catch you, there is no going back anymore.”

Nevea took Raven to Vlassta’s infirmary. He had lost consciousness a while ago, so she dragged him with her with a lot of effort. Soon they arrived at the room with a metal wall and several small beds positioned in line with a bone-white curtain separating each bed. In the center of the room was a man with blonde hair wearing a white coat with a stethoscope circling his neck. He was facing the window, seeming engrossed in watching the giant tree outside the building. Nevea knocked on the door softly, making the man look at him. “I am sorry to bother you, Dr. Dixon, but Raven needs help.” Nevea pointed at Raven with her head. Dr. Robert Dixon was a doctor in Vlassta for as long as she could remember. He was a vampire with the appearance of a forty-year-old man. The vampire walked closer and observed Raven closely. “What happened to him?” Robert asked while helping Nevea to take Raven into the nearest bed. “Mission fails, and we meet a strong unregistered vampire,” Nevea replied sho

His golden eyes flickered with a dark glint. “I’ve been wondering how it would feel to touch one of your mounds.” He pocked her bosom lightly, which earned a beautiful moan from Nevea. A grin slipped from his mouth as her body responded to his touch as he wanted.“Haa….” Nevea gasped. Her eyes were glammed with passion. Zach’s touch was like

And Nevea jumped from her sleep. “Haaa…haaa…haaa….” Nevea's breath was laboring. Although her mind was muddled, she could remember every single thing clearly. She dreamed of Zach, not just an ordinary dream where she killed him. Instead, she had a real love-making dream with him. If that was not insane, Nevea did not know what it was. Nevea lifted the blanket from her body and stood up. She could feel the dampness on her panties, which proved that she had indeed experienced a wild activity with Zach in her mind. Her palm covered her mouth as disbelief washed over her. "Shit, I must be crazy." She cursed repeatedly and slapped her cheek hard until it left a red mark. She eyed her bed for a while before deciding to remove the bedsheet hastily as if she was afraid that someone else would be able to know her shameful act in the dreamland. Nevea cleaned her bed and herself to wash all the traces of her dream. After ensuring that everything was new, she heaved a sigh of relief. She

"How I miss hearing this kind of sound." He spoke. In the past, it elevated him to witness his subjects run like mad people just to reach him. The entrance to the throne room cracked with a loud sound. Silas and Levi appeared in their disheveled state. Being a half-vampire was far different from being pureblood like him. While Zach could move thrice to ten-fold faster than the normal pureblood, the half-vampire still had to exert significant physical effort."Your Majesty," Levi and Silas said and immediately bowed before Zach. Nevea's breathing grew heavier as she stood in front of a metal door with the name of dr. Sara Reyes at the side of the door. She hated visiting Sara's office the most; it brought so many bad memories from her childhood. In the past, she was forced to sit in that damned office. Sara examined her over and over again until she was deemed to be okay to enter Vlassta. There never had physical pain, but the trauma was rooted in her mind like superglue. 'Sleep, Nevea, and everything you saw in the orphanage.' was the most used sentence from Sara. Every day for almost a month, she was coerced to witness that massacre and narrated it to Sara afterward. And during that time, Nevea's story never changed, not even when Sara took her hypnotism to a different level, which made her watch all the people who died because of her. She passed all the mental torture from Sara with the highest grade. Later she found out that most of the people who enrolled in the academy went through the same thing. The

After Nevea's last meeting with Sara, everything went well in her life. She enjoyed her mundane routine. Today was supposed to be the day Vlassta announced the group for the annual test. That was why hunters with experience of fewer than ten years gathered in the hallway, facing the big screen hanging on the wall. "I have a bad feeling," Lola whispered to her. Ever since Cristy and Nevea's confrontation, wariness never left Lola, even for a second. Nevea pinched Lola's arm playfully. "Don't worry. Nothing will happen." She turned her head in Raven's direction and smiled at him as she knew Raven was also worried about her. "But I—" Lola's words were cut short by the crowd's loud shout of cheer and annoyance. The screen had changed from pitch black to white, showing a list of names. There were ten different groups, and Nevea fell into group B with Cristy and Ryan. While Lola was in group E along with Raven and someone she had never heard of. Below the group name was the location for

Moving from Nevea, Zach observed Cristy and Ryan from another monitor. Those two people behaved sneakily. Soon two other people joined them, and Zach was certain they were cooking something stupid in their empty brains. The two people who joined Cristy and Ryan were two men with distinct features. The shorter man was bald, and the big man had long brown hair tied neatly in a bun. Zach zoomed in and looked at them closely. "Unregistered vampires, huh," Zach muttered. His fingers stroked his chin, thinking about what those hunters could be thinking. He would not bother with them as long as they did not mess with Nevea.Cristy grinned when she saw the two vampires in front of her. She could already imagine Nevea's sound of agony filling this empty forest. It would be her music theme for her victory. Just a little more and Nevea's existence on earth would remain a memory, but only if she were fortunate enough to live in someone's mind. Thinking about that made Cristy's body tremble from

"I don't know your problem with that woman, but I will give you quick death after tasting your blood." The man with hair styled in a bun said. Nevea spit at his face; anger was palpable on her face. "I am not going to die. It's you." After saying that, she planted her blade on the vampire's neck, stabbing him repeatedly without mercy. Blood spurred to her face, yet she did not mind. Her goal was clear; she wanted the man before her to fall on her feet. The bald man was angered at Nevea's action. He jumped on her and slapped her cheeks, worsening Nevea's small wound on her lips; fresh blood flowed from the injury. "How dare you, human!" The bald man yelled. After their talk, Nevea and Zach spend their time searching for a clue by hanging out in the library. First, they read each book that contains demons and fairies. And about fairies, it was just a story of a bunch of cute little things. What they read was pretty much useless. Not even once they mentioned purity. Kindness was there, but the ridiculous rule about desire was not mentioned. At this point, they were desperate.
