CHAPTER FORTY-SIX: Compulsory Dinner.

I get out of the car hastily, slamming the door shut angrily the moment it rolls to a stop in front of the house, which was strangely lit considering it wasn't even night time.

I mumble a response to the housekeeper's greetings, barely holding in my anger.

I stomp into my room and throw myself down on my bed face first.

Roman had refused to listen to anything I had to say. Instead, he had ordered the driver to take me home and when I physically refused to, he had lifted me like a sack of potatoes throwing me over his shoulders, and proceeding to deposit me in the back of the car.

He didn't come home with me like we've been doing for the past week. Home. This place was definitely beginning to grow on me.

When it's time for dinner, I expect to see Roman in the dining room, but he is strangely absent. Due to the emptiness, I end up telling one of the maids to take the food up to my room for me. I eat on the bed, in a totally sour and sullen mood.
