CHAPTER FIFTY-SIX: Switched Tickets.

I pick at my food, refusing to say a word to Roman nor have a taste of the food in front of me.

“Do you want me to force-feed you, Princess?” Roman asks with a frown.

I glare at him in anger as I stab my fork into the meatball, imagining it was his eyes. I must say, the thought of killing him with the fork has crossed my mind an unhealthy number of times.

Roman pushes his chair back and stalks towards me as I force the meatball into my mouth. I'm not taking any chances with him because he just might do as he has said.

I gulp the orange juice in front of me, hoping to divert his attention from my far from empty plate.

“We are leaving tomorrow, Princess. Don't forget to pack your bags.” Roman says quietly, ignoring my attitude.

I roll my eyes when he's not looking and plan to do the exact opposite of his orders. I relax a little when he leaves for his office.

He places a kiss on my forehead on his way out. “Make sure you empty your plate, princess.”
