Lillian's POV:

"He's so petty!" I muttered in a low voice. I did not even have the chance to enjoy those snacks yet he had already taken them away.

After Ismail left, I sat on the bed and read a magazine. I was in a much better mood than before.

Although I still had no idea why that arrogant man would come back to the hospital and even buy ice cream for me, I could tell that he was trying to make peace.

Although I was disappointed by his behaviour that morning, I was glad that he wanted to make peace. I really did not dare to ask for more from him.

After flipping through the magazine for a while, I was relieved when I heard my phone rang with a call from Aaron.

I picked up the phone and answered. I could immediately hear the cheers of the children from the other end of the phone. Aaron said with a smile, "Miss Lillian, thank you for the ice cream and snacks. The children are very happy."

"What?" I was a little confused. Ice cream and snacks? What was going on?
