Lillian's POV:

"You've finally thought it through?" I smiled.

"Yes," Ismail sat up. He took out a cigarette and a lighter from his pocket, smoke instantly swirling around him.

I remembered that he did smoke, but not often. The last time he smoked was because of Miss Moonshine. At the moment, he was smoking again because of her and he even brought out an entire pack of cigarettes.

The gloom on his face was faintly discernible.

I sat up from my bed and tapped at the sign where it said "No smoking". Then I reached out and put out the cigarette between his fingers.

Although it was an ordinary ward and I was alone, the doctor said that he could not smoke. Therefore, I wasn't going to allow him to smoke for the sake of his health.

"I'm sorry, I forgot," Ismail said apologetically.

"Well, you don't have to smoke when you're upset. You can always..." I comforted her with a smile.

"Drink?" Seeing that I was hesitating, Ismail finished my sentence.

"Of course not." I could not think of another
