Lillian's perspective

Just a moment ago, I had a terrible dream. I dreamed about Ismail finding out I was pregnant, and he got so angry that he choked me and forced me to the windowsill with each step. We were on the 30th floor of the building. If I fell, I would die upon impact. Nevertheless, Ismail grabbed my neck and pushed my upper body out of the window, threatening me with gritted teeth to either die or have an abortion.

I cried and begged him to let us go, yet he only spat two words: "Dream on!"

I finally woke up, but the moment I opened my eyes, I saw Ismail standing by my bed, holding the drip bottle in his hand.

My heart skipped a beat in an instant, because I had no idea what he wanted to do and whether he knew that I was pregnant.

A cold smile formed on Ismail's face as he shook the bottle in his hand. "Medicine to protect the baby? Is this necessary?"

"What do you mean-" I instinctively placed my hands on my abdomen, wondering if my baby was safe.
