"Jenna? Honey, wake up. Our flight is landing." Mrs. Kennedy gently nudged Jenna while shoving some flight food in her handbag. Jenna's eyes fluttered at the mesmerizing sight full of clouds as the engines roared and winded into her ears, causing her to poke her fingers through it.
Eventually, the aircraft dipped down screeching forwards and making Jenna feel like her head was going to explode. Jenna shifted her head to the left, staring at her mom like she had grown another head. "What? I couldn't let the food go to waste." Mrs. Kennedy explained. Well, it wasn't really something to be surprised about since saving food had always been a habit and an obsession for Mrs. Kennedy.
"Don't just stare at me like an idiot. Wake up your brother." Mrs. Kennedy commanded, rolling her eyes at Jenna.
"Tyler! Wake up." Jenna's negligible voice echoed from the front seat. He pretended like he didn't hear her through his AirPods since he was so relaxed and switched on to dreaming mode. He just wanted to curl up and sleep more. "Tyler!" She yelled again. This time shaking him with both of her hands, gesturing him to wake up.
"Fuck off!" He moaned loud enough for people in the front row to hear and causing other passengers to stare. Mrs. Kennedy shot him a glare, making him finally move.

Everyone was rushing out of the plane like it was some sort of a marathon. "Welcome to Vancouver!" One of the pilots greeted the family of brunettes." As soon as they slumped out of the plane, carrying multiple luggages."Tyler I can't carry three things. You need to at least carry two." Jenna complained breathlessly between the large crowd.
Tyler turned around saying "That's your punishment."
"For what?" Asked Jenna.
"For being annoying," Tyler explained. Giving a small smirk then pacing his head back to this girl he was checking out. Jenna muttered something under her breath but Tyler was too lost to hear anything.
When Jenna gradually went down the escalator, she saw parts of Vancouver through the line of glassed windows as the sunlight huddled around her, making her feel safe. It was such a cozy feeling but a little nerve-racking at the same time. Moving into a new country and starting a new school. She had left everything behind for a new beginning.
"Mum, look there's Tania!" Jenna pointed at the redhead girl walking through the glass doors.
Tania was Jenna's cousin, they hadn't seen each other since they were seven. Tania and aunt Brenda were the only relatives Jenna had in Vancouver.
"Oh my goodness, Jenna is that you? You've grown so much!" She exclaimed after running across the airport like some crazy-ass woman. "Oh come here, give aunt Brenda a hug." Aunt Brenda commanded, squeezing Jenna tighter than ever. No wonder, why Jenna was having breathing problems.
When Jenna stepped out of the airport she saw these magnificent tall, glassed buildings of Vancouver, she was amazed by how beautiful they were since she barely saw any back in her hometown because it was well... Small.
Luckily, they already had a cab waiting outside the airport. After pushing and shoving their luggages inside the cab. Jenna squeezed into the car, plopping down on the seat towards the edge. Which was was more of a relief because she could just roll down the window and take a moment to breathe.
Jenna's eyes widened by the incredible sights floating away from the car each time. the sunlight softened as she peaked her head out of the cab. Watching the trees, swaying in a warming breeze.
After a while, the wind came rushing in her direction. She realized how dark it was getting. It sure did take a hell of a lot of time to get to Tania's house.
Finally, Jenna arrived at her aunt's house after waiting in the cab for two hours. "And there's your tip." Aunt Brenda added.
"A tip?" Jenna curiously asked.
"Oh yes, in Canada you need to give a tip for everything. Except, for grocery stores and shopping malls." Aunt Brenda replied. Wow, few hours in Canada and she's learning things already.
"Tomorrow is the first day of school and I still don't know what to wear," Jenna complained while slumping herself against Tania's bed.
"I don't know, just wear sweat pants or something," Tania suggested. Grabbing some of Jenna's clothes out of her luggage.
Jenna released a deep breath and revealed "I just want to fit in. What if they make fun of my clothes or accent?" So many concerns scattered around her brain. She had never looked so nervous for school before.
Back in England, Jenna had to wear a uniform to school, where the teachers had to tell the girls to constantly pull their skirts down plus the school Jenna went to was an extremely strict Catholic school but in here you get away with wearing shorts and a crop top to school.
"Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. I'm telling you, no one would care, not in here." Tania explained.
Jenna looked down, thinking about her best friend Stacy back in England. Stacy always knew how to put a smile on her face, just having Stacy with her on the first day of school, would've made it so much easier. "Stacy has always been the talkative, confident one maybe she would know, what to do in a situation like this. Wait, Stacy! I should facetime her and let her know that I've arrived" Jenna alterted.
"Hi!" Stacy beamed in her thick British accent. Looking preppy and polished as always.
"Hey, I've just arrived in Vancouver and I'm at my cousin's house and I'm trying to pick an outfit for school, I don't know what to wear and I don't know if I should keep my British accent plus school is tomorrow, I'm freaking out! I don't know what to do." Jenna expressed breathlessly.
"Calm down, I know this will sound corny but I think you should just be yourself because from what I know Canadians are polite people and they have a really friendly community," Stacy stated the stereotypical assumptions to ease her best friend's distress.
"Yeah... my cousin said something like that," Jenna recalled.
"See, it should be fine, your cousin has been living there for years and you are going to the same school as her," Stacy reassured while hugging her pink velvet cushion.
Stacy smiled sweetly. "Remember, what I always say, don't follow the trend, create the trend-"
"You're so selfish!" A mans voice echoed from Stacy's background. Jenna immediately recognised who it was. Jenna noticed how Stacy's eyes widened as soon as she heard the voice.
"Umm.. like I was saying." She hesitated. "Your British accent is fine plus you're a really funny person.
"Smash!" Stacy's heart nearly thumped out of her chest as Jenna slightly bounced backwards.
"Stacy is everything okay?" Jenna's concern was clear in her voice.
"Jenna, I've.. I've got to go. Stacy's voice was shaking and she squeezed her pillow really tightly. The drop of year was so visible on the screen.
The call ended leaving a Jenna completely silent ghost silent. Stacy had told her that her parents were having issues but she didn't think it was that extreme.
"What was that?" Tania was shook. Jenna had completely forgotten that Tania was behind her all along. She twisted her head around observing how Tania's jaw was practically on the floor.
"She just has some family issues." Jenna shrugged as they both go back to being silent for a bit.
"So... she made a good point don't you think. You just need to be yourself." Tania broke the silence.
"Easy for you to say," Jenna mumbled. Even though, she appreciated how hard they were trying to make it better for her.
"I know the first day of school can be nerve-racking but think of the bright side. You get to have a fresh start and make new friends plus you got away from that horrible girl you mentioned that from your old school." Tania tried to cheer her up.
"Well, I guess that's a good thing." There was a sudden rise on the corner of her lips. "But not for Stacy." She concerned.

During dinner, all Jenna could think about was Stacy "What was wrong?" "How is she doing?" "Is she okay?" Jenna didn't really her family situation was that serious. She really wished that she was there for Stacy. She barely even touched her spaghetti, which was very abnormal for Jenna.
Tania and aunt Brenda left Jenna's house after shoving their dinners down their throats. Jenna and her family were lucky that they bought their house before moving in or else they would've had to stay at Tania's house and drag their luggages around again after they finding a mew home.
after helping her mom and Tyler clear up the table and watching the dishes. Jenna finally headed towards her room. She stood by the door as her eyes scanned the entire room. Everything in the room was white. The bed the desk cupboard and her wallpaper ofcouse. This house came fully furnished. And Jenna really liked it. It was the perfect size for three of them. Even her room was the perfect size. Not too big. Not too small.
Jenna slumped onto her bed. Finally relaxing her back from all that cleaning. Her eyes slowly started to close and she could be her muscles relax until.
"Ringgg!" Jenna jumped slightly in her positing, realising that it was a call from Stacy. Jenna slid her thumb across the screen and put it against her ear. "Hello." Her voice sounded like it was dying from being tired.
"H-hello." Stacy's voice was croaked as if she was crying.
"What's wrong Stacy?" The air felt thick with tension.
Stacy released a huge breath. "My dad has been taken to jail."
"Mum... dad..." Stacy's voice was soft but loud enough for her parents to hear. She closed the door behind her and headed towards the large staircase where the noises and the arguments got clearer. The stairs were designed to look like a swirl to match the rest of the features in their vintage mansion. "Mum? Dad?" She called louder this time. A moment of silence took over as Stacy's long black hair swung side to side as she sauntered down the stairs and made her way towards the large hallway. Her eyes searched every corner but her parents weren't there. "Where were the noises coming from?" She wondered. Stacy slowly made her way towards the narrow passage this time which was the next closest room she could go to. The passage was the narrowest place in their house which was yet quite big for a passage. The line of white and gold antique vases was supported by tall white tools and on the opposite side, there was a row of windows that were only a few spaces apart. Stacy kept going and
"Jenna wake up, it's time for school!" Mrs Kennedy yelled aloud from downstairs. Her voice echoed through Jenna's room and into her ears. Jenna wooshed out of her bed and down to her feet. A sudden panic gushed into her from realizing that she still hadn't picked her outfit. "And wake your brother up too!" Her mom orderedBefore waking up Tyler, Jenna's thoughts travelled back to her best friend Stacy who shared her pain and trauma with her last night. "Is he awake?" Mrs Kennedy alarmed. Jenna headed towards Tyler's room which stank of mouldy cheese and ass. "Hey! Tyler wakes up, it's time for school." Jenna commanded as she tapped him with one hand and covered her nose with the other."Piss off." Tyler hissed. Then slumped his pillow against his head, trying to cover up his earbuds and wishing that his lovely little sister would get the fuck out!"Come on! We don't have time. I need to get ready." Jenna insisted
The morning light sweeped over the room as the sun rose from a distance. Stacy was so blinded, it urged her to pull her blush pink blanket over her head and lucky for her the alarm decided to go off right after that "Beep beep... Beep beep..." Stacy stretched her lean arms, rising up her chest. "Beep beep.... Beep beep..." The noise blabbered again. Stacy's hand travelled towards her bed side table then "wooshed" side to side, trying to find her rose gold clock. After, moments of struggling she eventually found it, then chucked it across her luxurious room. If it wasn't for her. Her dad would've never returned last night. Everything about yesterday was so mentally exhausting. She just wanted to forget out about it completely. The panic of being late, gushed into her, which urged her to charge up then hurry out of her bed then straight into her bathroom. Since, it was the first day of school she wanted to feel as relaxed as poss
"Next up is Jenna Kennedy." Miss Helen said it out loud, when Jenna was next for the tryout. She felt the intensity as she walked away from the line of enthusiastic yet nervous girls to the middle of the gym."Can you please show me a rolly polly to start off with?" Miss Helen asked. Jenna froze for a moment because she hadn't done it in years but she just took a deep breath then just went for it. "Great, can you show me a handstand or a cartwheel now." Miss Helen continued. Jenna did a cartwheel since she did it all the time, she remembered practising it with Stacy over and over again, until it was finally perfect and lucky for her, it turned out to be perfect too in the tryouts and she was quite proud of it. "Well done! Now, show me a tumble." Miss Helen ordered and that's when Jenna panicked. She really didn't know how to do a tumble. She had a few attempts at it before but failed epically.
After an hour of listening to Amber, blabbering in French, Stacy finally got a chance to escape into a different class, where Amber wasn't present. Lucky Stacy, which meant that she could finally study in peace. Or could s"Good morning year 10!" Mr Cameron said joyfully as students entered the geography classroom. Mr Cameron was a new, young, geography teacher. Some students even had a crush on him and the majority of the students made fun of him every lesson because of how incapable he was of getting their attention which got him frustrated every time. Out of all the teachers, students disrespected him the most. Stacy always felt sympathetic for him."Good morning Mr Cameron." The students replied, sounding like they were all dying."I've arranged a seating plan for all of you so you must sit where I instruct you to." Mr Cameron made it clear when he made Jessica sit next right to Stacy. The class acted like the
As soon as Jenna entered the hip-hop class, she how observed different groups of dancers were scattered around, everyone was chit-chatting, everyone was gossiping. The mirrors in the room were up to the ceiling and down to the hardwood floor. The dance studio was massive and she loved it.Suddenly, a whistling noise pierced through the room, Jenna's heart nearly bursted with shock, it was just so sudden. Everyone responded by rushing into the middle of the studio creating a circle. "So class we have a new student here called Jenna, she just moved here from England. So make sure to be polite to her." Miss Cook commanded. "So Daniel is the choreographer for the dance we are doing right now but unfortunately he's late." Miss Cook explained with a disappointed expression."I swear he'll be here in a second. Meanwhile, I'll teach her the dance." James offered."Oh shoot,
After a really long day at school, Stacy finally arrived home. She loosened her sleek black tie and dropped her bag onto her grey carpet. She felt so mentally exhausted from all the yelling and screaming. After pealing her uniform off, she made sure to fold it neatly. She decided to put on her pink Victoria's Secret robe which was the most favourite robe she owned then rushed into her bathroom, performing her daily skincare routine. First, she splashed her face with some cold water which started helping her feel a lot calmer then she squeezed some of her tea tree foaming facewash onto her palm and started massaging her face with it. She could feel the coolness surrounding her face which was very pleasant to feel then she scrubbed her face with some nspa which smelled of raspberries and helped get rid of all the dead skin. To finish off she smeared some of her Neutrogena visibly clear wash mask and splashed water right onto her face afterwards. In the end, she made sure to dab her fa
"Slam!" Bella's locker shut unexpectedly by a hand she vividly recognized. Bella shifted her eyes towards Delilah, crossing her arms and expecting her to say something."Okay B you know, what's coming but I have to ask. Are you okay?" Delilah concerned, lowering her chin while raising her perfectly shaped eyebrows."Yah! I'm fine." Bella tried to prance away after slamming her locker close but Delilah grabbed her wrist, stopping her."Wait! At least talk to me about this." Delilah insisted."Talk about what?" Bella rolled her eyes at Delilah trying her best to hide her emotions.Delilah exhaled a deep breath then began "You're afraid, aren't you? Afraid that James will now run after Jenna-""That's bullshit," Bella mumbled looking down at her trendy shoes."No, it's not," Delilah argued. "You liked the attention-""And you don't." Bella interrupted again."Liked receiving attention from James. James in particular." Delil
"A pep what?" Miss Carson asked as she wrinkled her forehand while narrowing her eyes down at Stacy. Miss Carson was this middle-aged, squeaky clean kind of teacher who was all about making things right. Stacy swore, that she was the older and more mature version of Betty Cooper."A pep rally," Stacy confirmed while giving Miss Carson a heartwarming smile. She couldn't help but try and arrange one in her school after Jenna mentioned it to her last night."What is it?" Miss Carson questioned as she tucked in her delicate brown bob behind her ear."It's a meeting aimed at inspiring enthusiasm, especially one held before a sporting event. Which mainly happens in America and Canada to raise the school's spirit. Normally, in a pep rally the dancers, cheerleaders and the school band perform, they play fun games, the mascot makes t
"Next up is Daniel and his group." Miss Close announced. Everyone had to do a presentation on Cold War. Unlike Daniel, Jenna worked independently even though she was supposed to be in his group but later she found out that working independently gave more marks. She idiotically left them last minute and rushed all the work for her presentation. She felt so dumb for not choosing to be in a group after seeing that everyone was in a group, except for her.Daniel and his group stood up in front of everyone in the class and started explaining about the Cold War and its effects of it. Jenna was amazed by how confident Daniel was. Daniel spoke with such passion with expressive hand gestures. While, others were standing behind him, backing up everything he said. Leadership was clearly in his blood. People couldn't take their eyes off of him while listening so attentively. Daniel's confidence was intimidating and nerve-wrac
"Beep, beep." Stacy's alarm repeated at 7:00 am in the morning as she chucked it across her pink bedroom, due to her intense sleep as always. Typical Stacy.Just minutes later, she managed to get up and changed her silky, soft lilac nightly into her ridiculous uniform. She really wished that Amber would be nice to her today at least for once. I mean... How hard can it be? In fact, the only time Amber was nice to Stacy was back in 7th grade when she complimented Stacy's natural bronzed skin saying that she wanted to be her colour. Back then, Amber showed off her pale skin and natural curly brown hair which suited her a lot more.Afterwards, she gently combed her long black hair the clasped her rose gold watch around her thin wrist."Meow," Tom demanded Stacy to serve him food. Tom was a very demanding cat who only preferred eating the most expensive cat food, British Banquet. He always had a gru
