"Jenna wake up, it's time for school!" Mrs Kennedy yelled aloud from downstairs. Her voice echoed through Jenna's room and into her ears. Jenna wooshed out of her bed and down to her feet. A sudden panic gushed into her from realizing that she still hadn't picked her outfit. "And wake your brother up too!" Her mom ordered
Before waking up Tyler, Jenna's thoughts travelled back to her best friend Stacy who shared her pain and trauma with her last night. "Is he awake?" Mrs Kennedy alarmed. Jenna headed towards Tyler's room which stank of mouldy cheese and ass. "Hey! Tyler wakes up, it's time for school." Jenna commanded as she tapped him with one hand and covered her nose with the other.
"Piss off." Tyler hissed. Then slumped his pillow against his head, trying to cover up his earbuds and wishing that his lovely little sister would get the fuck out!
"Come on! We don't have time. I need to get ready." Jenna insisted then raced towards her closet.
"No, no, no! This is a disaster, I still don't know what to wear." Jenna complained to herself, chucking her clothes up in the air while searching through her wardrobe.
"Get downstairs right now or else you both are walking to school." Mrs Kennedy demanded.
"OMG, this is it!" Jenna exclaimed, finally finding the right outfit. Usually, Jenna was not really fussed about brands but today, she wanted to look her coolest so she wore her white Tommy Hilfiger top. Since Jenna thought it was too plain, she tied a tiny knot at the bottom then paired it with blue ripped jeans and white Nike trainers.
Before, leaving her house, Jenna sprayed some sea salt spray to her natural brown beach waves to make it even wavier. Then to finish off the look she added her favourite vanilla-scented rosy plump lip gloss and Maybelline mascara then rushed downstairs.
"How come you're not nervous, this is the first day of school?" Jenna asked Tyler on the way to school. Tyler just shrugged his shoulders then turned up the volume because Drake was playing on the radio. Even though it was the first day of school, Jenna wasn't really surprised by Tyler's behaviour because he had always been good at making friends. He was actually quite popular back in England.
When she got off the car her stomach started growling with hunger. "Hey stop farting with your stomach, you're going to embarrass me," Tyler demanded.
"I shouldn't have skipped breakfast." Jenna regretted. Rubbing her hand against her stomach.
"Be good. Okay?" Mrs Kennedy commanded. Both Jenna and Tyler nodded their heads in agreement. As soon as Mrs Kennedy drove away Tyler poked Jenna on the head then started walking ahead. Jenna responded by narrowing her eyes down at Tyler while rubbing her head.
Jenna's jaw dropped from the first glimpse of the pearl white building that was sparkling under the sunlight her eyes nearly popped out of her skull when it shifted towards the amazingly large swimming pool which had a bridge resting over it. Her eyes scanned the green trees decorated in front of the building which were shaped elegantly in different sizes. The school was absolutely humongous!
"Wow." Jenna admired with wide eyes still unable to believe that she will be going to a school like this.
"Meh I've seen better ones." Tyler casually commented after recovering from having his jaw practically resting on the floor.
When Jenna was sluggishly making her way to the main entrance, her brother calmly glided into the school building and went with the flow.
As soon as she stepped inside, she admired how huge it was. Though there was nothing unique about it. The walls were freshly painted white and the lockers were royal blue, the colour scheme made it look really attractive even though it was just an old school building. The floor was like a white mirror you could see your reflection on the surface. However, lockers being nearly up to the ceiling really surprised Jenna, she felt like she was in the high school musical.
Even though she broke into a sweat, she looked so flawless while rocking her outfit. Her clammy hands finally got a chance to breathe when someone waved and said "hi" while walking past her in the corridor. It made her feel less anxious, everything in this school surprised her, even when she noticed that the girls hardly wore any make-up.

"Alright class, we have a new student here called Jenna. So Jenna do you mind introducing yourself?" Mr Hall's voice echoed through the gap between his front teeth, which immediately reminded Jenna of Jim Carrey from dumb dumber.
Instantly, thirty sets of eyes focused on Jenna, making her heart beat faster. She could feel her sweat, beading onto her forehead. She felt like she lost her voice before she even began to speak. She tried to practice her Canadian accent at home but failed epically which made her decide to settle for her British accent. "Hi, my name is Jenna Kennedy and I just moved here from England, I moved to Canada because it's a great place to live in." Jenna introduced herself, after taking a deep breath.
"Feel free to sit anywhere." Mr Hall said. Jenna's eyes rested on a seat next to this beautiful brunette. She was unsure whether it would be the right choice or not because the last thing she wanted was someone being mean to her, on her first day. The girl noticed that Jenna was struggling to make her decision so she comforted her with a welcoming smile.
"OMG! I love your accent." Complemented the girl with mid-brown hair. Her emerald eyes sparkled with excitement as soon as Jenna grabbed the chair to sit next to her.
"Thank you." Jenna appreciated with a huge grin.
"I'm Delilah by the way." Delilah introduced herself.
"That's a pretty name. Is that Canadian?" Jenna asked. She was also surprised by how nice Delilah was being. She was the total opposite of what Jenna expected.
"Thank you and no it's an Arabic name. I am half Arabian" Delilah informed, smiling.
"James you're late!" Mr Hall complained.
"Sorry, I slept in." This freakishly good-looking guy apologized then glided into the room.
Suddenly, Jenna's pulse started racing, she felt like everything was going in slow motion, everything else was pitch black except for him, her heart thumped out of her ribcage when he did a hair flip with his dusty blonde hair, she even felt butterflies in her stomach. Uh oh, Jenna Kennedy you just got yourself a crush!
"Ugh, maths was so boring," Delilah complained while walking outside of the classroom. She looked so stunning in her pink two-piece which had Mochino written all over it along with that she wore a pink dashing diamonds satin buckle baguette bag. She just looked so fancy. Jenna admired every single one of her curves. Wishing that she felt confident enough to dress like that but she was too afraid to.
"I know right." Jenna agreed, rolling her eyes.
"Hey since you're the new girl. I'll show you around." Delilah offered. Clapping her hands together then letting out a small squeak.
"Yeah, that would be great," Jenna agreed, smiling then followed Delilah.

Similarly, Tyler was having a great start too. "OMG, I love your accent." "So which part of England are you from?" "Can you pronounce water for me?" "So do you have a date to the winter formal?" "The new guy is so cute." Whispered a bunch of girls outside of the chemistry block as Jenna passed by.
Jenna genuinely didn't know how to feel about her brother receiving so much attention. Somehow, Tyler had never gotten this much attention from girls before, it was mainly because he was British.
"Who's that guy?" Delilah curiously asked while passing by.
"Umm... Can you please show me the other side of the building?" Jenna dodged the question pacing away from her brother as fast as possible.
"Yeah, sure!" Said, Delilah rushed after her.

"You have a library in this school?" Jenna admired with wide eyes while touring around the whole school. Completely, memorized by their gigantic library even though she hated reading. She realized how weird she seemed admiring a library but surprisingly the school she went to didn't have a library. I guess that's just the case with some small-town schools in England. Jenna swore that her school was the only school in the entire country that didn't have a damn library.
"Yeah, some people sit here during lunchtime," Delilah informed.
When she walked past the gym, she saw pictures of cheerleaders, hanging on the wall in their blue and white uniform that had WHHS has written in the middle, which stood for Western Heights High school which reminded her of Stacy a lot. Stacy absolutely loved cheerleading, she was always so enthusiastic about it. "Hey, do you know how someone can get into the cheerleading squad?" Jenna asked curiously.
"Of course! I'm trying out in like 30 minutes" Delilah revealed.
"Thirty minutes!" The realization struck Jenna "I don't want to keep you if this takes longer."
"Don't worry. I'll be fine." She convinced, in a relaxed tone. "Wait... Do you wanna try out?" Delilah questioned while biting her lower lip and bouncing slightly.
"Yeah, I do" She replied. Although Jenna wasn't really into cheerleading, she wanted to tryout to feel close to Stacy. Stacy always blabbered about cheerleading. She wanted to understand why she enjoyed it so much.
"Yay! We can tryout together." She gushed. Delilah seemed like a hyperactive person, who got excited over almost every little thing. She guessed that was the case with most cheerleaders. No wonder, why Stacy was always so lively.
"I'll show you outside," Delilah informed. Leading her into the massive yard.
"Nice.." Jenna seemed impressed while the runners competed on the blue tracks. She could barely stable herself because her knees started trembling with tiredness. Who knew that strolling around a gigantic school would've been so exhausting.
"Ready for cheerleading?" Delilah reminded as the wind blew her hair away from her face.
"It's now!" Jenna panicked with wide eyes.
"Yah! Time flies right?" Delilah shrugged.
"Yeah it sure does." Jenna agreed.
"Wait! But you can't try out in that. Hmm... Follow me to my locker. I'll lend you my leggings." Delilah ordered then paced past the group of jocks. The jocks stared and whistled which clearly showed that it was a regular thing for her to grab their attention. For a moment Jenna thought that they were staring at her but her self image was so low to the point where she thought that it was impossible.
"Really? Thank you so much!" Jenna appreciated, hurrying after Delilah and making their way out of the green football ground.
Jenna was so nervous about trying out the most she knew about cheerleading was from high school musical and all of Stacy's stories about what she had done. She definitely didn't have the chance to practice all the flips and dances she saw cheerleaders do. What on earth was she going to do?
"Jenna, relax you're practically shaking." Delilah joked with a teasing laugh.
"I know!" She moaned. "Its just... I've never done cheerleading before. I'm doing it to feel close to my best friend back in England. I really wish, I knew it was today because I would've definitely practised last night."
"Don't worry, You'll do great." Delilah soothed then gently squeezed Jenna's shoulder." This is also my first time trying out but I hope to do well since I became more flexible from doing contemporary dancing."
"Wow, you do contemporary?" Jenna lifted both her eyebrows.
"Yeah since I was like six. I love it so much, I even do it outside of school." Delilah revealed.
"Oh, then how do you manage time to study?" Jenna curiously asked since studying was always her top priority.
"I just do it whenever I feel like it, honestly." Delilah shrugged.
"Wow, I can literally fit inside it," Jenna said, admiring the tall blue locker.
"Did you not have a locker in your old school?" Delilah questioned as she entered her locker combination.
"I did but it was quite small. I could barely fit my stuff." Jenna revealed, thinking back.
"There you go." Delilah handed her slim black leggings.
"Is that from lulu lemon?" Jenna asked looking at the tag. Of course, it was silly.
"Yeah," Delilah replied with a smile.
"And they are new," Jenna stated, looking down at them and feeling the soft fabric. "Are you sure that I can borrow them? I mean... Aren't they quite expensive?"
"It is fine... You need it." Delilah replied, sounding chill.
"Thank you so much. I'll make sure to return it." Jenna felt so grateful.
"Don't worry you can keep it. She winked.
"What?" Jenna was in shock.
"Yeah, you can keep it. I've got more at home" She revealed.
"But-"
"Really it's fine." She repeated. Plus, this is what friends are for." She shrugged. "If I ever needed something you would do anything for me right?"
The morning light sweeped over the room as the sun rose from a distance. Stacy was so blinded, it urged her to pull her blush pink blanket over her head and lucky for her the alarm decided to go off right after that "Beep beep... Beep beep..." Stacy stretched her lean arms, rising up her chest. "Beep beep.... Beep beep..." The noise blabbered again. Stacy's hand travelled towards her bed side table then "wooshed" side to side, trying to find her rose gold clock. After, moments of struggling she eventually found it, then chucked it across her luxurious room. If it wasn't for her. Her dad would've never returned last night. Everything about yesterday was so mentally exhausting. She just wanted to forget out about it completely. The panic of being late, gushed into her, which urged her to charge up then hurry out of her bed then straight into her bathroom. "Next up is Jenna Kennedy." Miss Helen said it out loud, when Jenna was next for the tryout. She felt the intensity as she walked away from the line of enthusiastic yet nervous girls to the middle of the gym."Can you please show me a rolly polly to start off with?" Miss Helen asked. Jenna froze for a moment because she hadn't done it in years but she just took a deep breath then just went for it. "Great, can you show me a handstand or a cartwheel now." Miss Helen continued. Jenna did a cartwheel since she did it all the time, she remembered practising it with Stacy over and over again, until it was finally perfect and lucky for her, it turned out to be perfect too in the tryouts and she was quite proud of it. "Well done! Now, show me a tumble." Miss Helen ordered and that's when Jenna panicked. She really didn't know how to do a tumble. She had a few attempts at it before but failed epically.
After an hour of listening to Amber, blabbering in French, Stacy finally got a chance to escape into a different class, where Amber wasn't present. Lucky Stacy, which meant that she could finally study in peace. Or could s"Good morning year 10!" Mr Cameron said joyfully as students entered the geography classroom. Mr Cameron was a new, young, geography teacher. Some students even had a crush on him and the majority of the students made fun of him every lesson because of how incapable he was of getting their attention which got him frustrated every time. Out of all the teachers, students disrespected him the most. Stacy always felt sympathetic for him."Good morning Mr Cameron." The students replied, sounding like they were all dying."I've arranged a seating plan for all of you so you must sit where I instruct you to." Mr Cameron made it clear when he made Jessica sit next right to Stacy. The class acted like the

Everyone responded by rushing into the middle of the studio creating a circle. "So class we have a new student here called Jenna, she just moved here from England. So make sure to be polite to her." Miss Cook explained with a disappointed expression."I swear he'll be here in a second. Meanwhile, I'll teach her the dance." James offered."Oh shoot,
After a really long day at school, Stacy finally arrived home. She loosened her sleek black tie and dropped her bag onto her grey carpet. She felt so mentally exhausted from all the yelling and screaming. After pealing her uniform off, she made sure to fold it neatly. She decided to put on her pink Victoria's Secret robe which was the most favourite robe she owned then rushed into her bathroom, performing her daily skincare routine. First, she splashed her face with some cold water which started helping her feel a lot calmer then she squeezed some of her tea tree foaming facewash onto her palm and started massaging her face with it. She could feel the coolness surrounding her face which was very pleasant to feel then she scrubbed her face with some nspa which smelled of raspberries and helped get rid of all the dead skin. To finish off she smeared some of her Neutrogena visibly clear wash mask and splashed water right onto her face afterwards. In the end, she made sure to dab her fa
"Slam!" Bella's locker shut unexpectedly by a hand she vividly recognized. "A pep what?" Miss Carson asked as she wrinkled her forehand while narrowing her eyes down at Stacy. Miss Carson was this middle-aged, squeaky clean kind of teacher who was all about making things right. Stacy swore, that she was the older and more mature version of Betty Cooper."A pep rally," Stacy confirmed while giving Miss Carson a heartwarming smile. She couldn't help but try and arrange one in her school after Jenna mentioned it to her last night."What is it?" Miss Carson questioned as she tucked in her delicate brown bob behind her ear."It's a meeting aimed at inspiring enthusiasm, especially one held before a sporting event. Which mainly happens in America and Canada to raise the school's spirit. Normally, in a pep rally the dancers, cheerleaders and the school band perform, they play fun games, the mascot makes t
