Chapter 28

Riley placed the red invitation card on her desk. She stared for a few seconds, then looked at her phone. She felt empty after Mdam Lyla left her boutique.

"You're taking Mr. Lucius there, Miss Riley?" Serra suddenly spoke up and her words shocked Riley.

She turned around and saw Serra working on some of the designs scattered on the table. She looked so gentle and calm, her eyes moved and she saw Riley staring at her, confused.

“Lucius is busy overseas. I don't know when he'll be back."

Serra smiled slightly at Riley's words. It's quite a pity because it seems Riley wants to invite Lucius.

"So, who are you going with?"

"If not alone. Of course, with you."

Serra had expected that answer, it would be a shame if Riley went alone. Her name recently became famous because of Mike's and Lucius' affairs.
