Chapter 27

Riley looked down at her hands as she walked into her office building. She bought a thick sandwich, even though she had eaten it with food filling her stomach.

"What do I think?"

Riley said that as if rejecting what she was doing right now. But she unwrapped the bread and ate it quickly, the people who saw what Riley was doing could only bow and greet her.

The sandwiches she bought during the trip had run out even before she reached her room. Serra had been waiting for her and hot coffee was already on her table.

"Miss Riley, there is an investor meeting at 10 am."

Riley listened to her carefully, Riley opened her files that were on the table, looked at the files that had piled up and she relaxed her body for a while.

"Is there a problem, Miss Riley?"

“There is,” Riley answered offhandedly, surprising Serra. She was looking forward to what Riley would say next.

“Oh, I have a bit of trouble sleeping.” Riley immediately explained so the woman in front of her would not have that panicked
