Chapter 26

Riley followed the sound she heard until she was in a distant part of this building. It was dark, her footsteps stopped, and Riley looked in front of her a few times with her hands squeezed.

She stared at what was in front of her, it was hard to determine precisely what was going on there.

“Ugh...”

The moaning sound sounded again, Riley's body just moved. She ran past the many large columns in the passage and finally found the figure of a man lying on the ground with blood running down his chest.

"Sir! Sir! Hang on!” Riley held him, she checked the pulse of the man who felt so weak and she was frantically looking for help. The dress she was wearing was torn and full of red blood.

Hazelnut-colored eyes opened quickly, the bright light blinding her for a moment. Riley closed her eyes again, they were watery, not used to the bright light.

“Ah... Really... Why do I remember such a stiff incident?” Riley exhaled while keeping her eyes closed. After a few seconds passed, she opened her eyes
