Chapter 29

Lucius finally manages to get Riley to come home with him. He asked Abriel to leave his car immediately and took Riley.

“You must be exhausted, Lucius. I could go home alone, but you forced me to go home with you instead."

Riley sat quite relaxed in the car, her words very different from what she was doing now.

"Long time no see you. A bit of tiredness doesn't hold me back at all.”

The two of them sat close together even as Lucius' arm brushed against Riley's arm, a feeling of warmth was felt at that point. Riley then remembered something, she immediately put her hand into her bag and took out a red invitation, she placed it above Lucius' hand.

Lucius' eyes looked at the invitation and opened it. "Madam Lyla?"

“She is my teacher. I'm going to the fashion show. You want to be my partner or not?" Riley asked Lucius.

“Of course, I want. It must be nice to be here.”
