The rain fell on what was known as a significant and very prosperous city, where people built their dreams, turning them into fast-moving money-making businesses.

A fast-paced city with an apparent bustle. Everyone in this city is risking their lives for something, whether it's a dream, a passion, or something else.

Riley walked in the rain, her whole body wet and her fingers shriveled up.

She had a bad day, she wanted to give a sweet surprise when today was her second wedding anniversary. Still very new, and also of course, she was very sure that she and her husband were very much in love.

She could have sex four times a week, always having breakfast and dinner together. There is no debate in their mouths about the things they don't like.

Mike always relented to her, treating her very sweet and tender. She knew that Mike must have loved her very much.

She had prepared, and the red lipstick that perfectly matched her lips made her look even more beautiful. She had also made lunch for her husband, she had imagined that she would have a romantic dinner with Mike.

"I miss you, Mike," she said sweetly with a pretty face.

Her hair was curled nicely, and the black blouse made her look even more beautiful.

Riley stepped into her husband's company, she touched her lips on an employee who was an assistant maid there so as not to tell her husband. It was their wedding anniversary, so she had to surprise him.

She gently opened the door to her husband's room, and her sweet smiley face had turned into a shattered one. She had been through a very bitter experience, it felt like her world had collapsed, and all the destruction in the world was reflected on her face.

Mike hadn't noticed her arrival, he was still sighing and licking the mouth of the person in front of him. Riley's eyes widened with a body shaking, she was shaking so badly.

Oh my god, she really couldn't bear to see this.

How could Mike kiss his private secretary?

He is Jason, the secretary she knows very well and is close to her husband, always by Mike's side, she didn't know that Jason and Mike had a relationship like this.

Riley finally dropped the lunchbox she had prepared for Mike, gasping for air. That's when Mike and Jason looked at Riley, their eyes wide and parted quickly.

Both of their clothes were open, and Riley could see that their bodies were filled with signs of love.

Riley's eyes were shaking so badly, she remembered the few times she had seen the kiss mark on Mike's body and thought maybe she did it because she was too excited to make love to Mike. But ... it turned out to be because of someone else!

It's because of Jason!

"Oh, Lord! You two have been toying with me all this time!” Riley screamed so loudly, she didn't know that her husband she married liked men.

But Mike married her, but Mike had a relationship with her.

Riley's heart felt like it was being squeezed very violently, it made it difficult for Riley to breathe. She pressed her left chest with her eyes flooded with tears.

“Riley… I can explain it to you. Please calm down, Riley..."

Mike stood up, he walked over to calm down Riley, who had a broken expression.

Riley quickly raised her hand, asking Mike to back off.

"Do not touch me! You've been toying with me, Mike!" after glaring at Mike, Riley looked at Jason, who was casually showing his body in front of Mike.

"It's no use, Mike, she already knows. Don't think about her anymore."

Jason casually held Mike's cheek, he looked so proud of what he had done.

"All this time, you married me to cover the rottenness of you two!" Riley screamed, she couldn't take this.

She had been devastated and laughed to himself, feeling sorry for what she sucked.

"Riley, it's not like that..." Mike was still trying to explain even though Jason was holding himself in a spoiled touch. It interfered with his concentration.

“You know it's our wedding anniversary....” Riley shook her head, then smirked. "Thanks for the gift, Mike."

Mike's eyes widened when he saw Riley like that, he couldn't make Riley like this, so he pushed Jason's body and held Riley's body.

“Riley, let me explain. Don't act like this, it could destroy you." Mike spoke, but all his words felt like deadly poison in Riley's heart.

"It was you who destroyed me!" Riley slapped her hand away, releasing himself from Mike.

"If I didn't come here, you would always lie to me."

Riley looked at Mike and Mike avoided eye contact with Riley.

It makes Riley feel so pathetic, if only she weren't stuck in a marriage like this… she loved Mike and she was being toyed with.

Jason had been watching with a smile since the breakdown in Mike and Riley's relationship he had been waiting for.

"Congratulations, you've ruined someone else's relationship. I'll make you suffer someday, Jason." Riley looked at Mike, who was still in a state of confusion. "Oh, of course, you do too, Mike."

Riley calmed himself, she exhaled and stood up straight.

"Wait for the divorce papers from me, now enjoy your relationship."

Riley turned around and Mike caught her hand.

“Riley, you can't do that! I don't accept it!" Mike raised his voice, and Mike's words made Riley laugh.

"Hahahaha! I don't care if you accept it or not, I'm the victim here, don't play with words like you're the victim, you bastard.”

Riley pulled her hand and was out of the room, when Mike wanted to chase Riley, Jason held his body and wasn't wearing his clothes properly.

Riley came out with bloodshot eyes flowing with tears, Riley's scream earlier was heard by several employees and the rumors spread clearly.

Riley squeezed her hand very tightly, when she came out of her husband's company building, she saw the heavy rain.

Her private chauffeur looked at the mistress he was serving, and Riley waved her hand.

"Don't follow me, I just want to enjoy the rain for a while."

Riley walked in the rain, it felt so calm. She was crying profusely while sobbing. Her heart today has been broken because of what her husband did. She was betrayed, she was toyed with to cover up something that made him feel worthless.

Riley hit her chest repeatedly, it hurt so bad she didn't want to live.

The marriage, why is it ruined like this?!

Mike, who was kind-hearted, just wanted to cover up his rot. She was utterly deceived.

“I hate… hate you so much, Mike. I hope you will never be happy.”

Riley is crying in the rain, it's been two hours. She's been walking in the shower and enjoying it. She felt let go, though her body was shivering.

A car passed in front of her, and the man inside shrunk when he saw Riley in the rain.

"Riley..."

Brak!

Riley suddenly fainted, which made his body immediately jolt.

"Stop the car!" he shouted at the driver with exploding emotions.
