Chapter 41 The confession

Amanda's POV

No matter how tired a person is, just one night of sleep is enough to stretch the body and help them regain strength. My alarm jolted me back to the land of the living and I opened my eyes, it was daybreak already. I feel light and strong at the same time. All the aching joints had relaxed and I was now feeling okay.

I got out of bed and headed out to the living room where a loud chatter was coming from. On getting outside, Sarah and Timothy were ready for school, Reya had prepared them. I felt bad for not waking up in time to assist her, even breakfast was ready too.

I stood by the food quietly watching them, it was a refreshing sight. Reya turned around and realized I was standing there, she noticed the guilt in my expression immediately and she giggled.
