18. The spiritual attack

We ate in silence.

I said nothing. She said nothing and so we are in silence.

Once I saw that she was close to finishing her food, I called for the attention of my maids. One of them came and I told her to go call the guards I put in charge of Lilian's room for me.

I was going to punish them in front of her and that's not all. I will also make her see the side of me I haven't known her and why I am not messed with.

While she'd think she no longer has guards, I will make sure she is secretly followed. Someone like Liliana needs a tough hand or she'd bring catastrophe.

The only reason I have been patient with her is because of what Rachel told me or maybe not because of what Rachel told me as I am not someone who is easily convinced about what to do.

For some reason, I don't find myself doing things I imagine doing to her each time she dared me.

"What?" She asked as she stared at me.

I rose my brows up in a questioning manner.

"You are staring," she replied.
