19. The sacred room

Damon must think he was wise when he told those guards to do their jobs and not expect me to not know what he meant.

I knew he wouldn't take those guards away. At first, I believed but when I didn't see them standing in front of my room, I knew something was suspicious.

If he told them to do their job then why aren't they in front of my room? I didn't need anyone to tell me that he probably ordered they watched me secretly so that I wouldn't know and when I walk around, they'd follow me and inform him of my every movement.

I had asked someone in the hallway if there was a library around and he showed me. I knew the men were following me but I wasn’t stupid and so I kept walking. I entered the library, took a random book, and began to read.

I could tell they were watching me from where they hid because they were not doing well hiding properly and what made me smile was when I saw that they were starting to feel sleeping and distracted.
