After what he had to do during the fight with Romeo, Nathaniel takes a little time to himself and ends up on a cliff overlooking the battlefield. He sighs to himself as he scans the terrible sight before him.

There are very few bodies lying on the ground, but the ground is painted red, black, blue, green and whatever other colour of blood comes from the many different supernaturals that are involved.  

This wasn’t something that he or any of the Royals wanted and had hoped that what they had been doing was enough to prevent this war. Yeah, he knew that other than the few that were killed in the first few hours, which was done by controlled rogues, there was no saving them.
