Savannah watches from the sidelines as Romeo walks out onto the battlefield and faces down his cousin, she tries to hold in the tears as she holds one hand to her mouth and one gently on her stomach hoping that she will see her mate again and their baby will know its Father.
When she sees that Prince Nathaniel is about to deliver his final blow, Savannah opens her link with Romeo and whispers,
“I love you. Please come back to us.”
“I’ll be back before you know it…”
