Lydia’s POV“Darwin! Are you crazy?” I screamed as I rushed towards Dimitri.But Dimitri held out a hand to stop me. “I'm fine. I'm fine,” he hissed and used a finger to wipe at the tiny bloody cut on his lip.“What is wrong with you!” I rounded in on Darwin just as Amari entered the meeting room and froze at the sight of the commotion.“He shouldn't be so close or touch my mate that way,” Darwin hissed as he stared daggers at Dimitri.“So what now? You're jealous?” I scoffed as Dimitri walked towards us with an amused smile on his lips.“He’s just a grumpy old bastard,” Dimitri slapped a hand on Darwin’s arm and chuckled. “But it's fine.
