Chapter 61

Lydia’s POV

I stood at the door taking in shaky breaths as I listened to the conversation between Lyssandra and Darwin.

“Please Leave. That’s why I did everything. Just leave, you have no reason to be here,” Darwin said calmly even though I could feel his anger.

“Why? Why do I have to be the one who leaves while you keep everything? So what if I messed up once? I apologised already, move on from it. I don’t care about your feelings, just give me what I want or I’ll find a way to take it,” Lyssandra hissed.

I heard the sounds of footsteps storming towards the door then she pushed the door open and slammed it hard.

If she saw me or not, she gave no indication as she turned and left.

With a deep sigh, I opened the room door and slipped inside.

The room was a mess like things had been thrown around and Darwin stood at my vanity with his head down.

“What was all that about?” I asked softly.

He jerked immediately and turned with wide eyes.
