Lydia’s POV

“Freya?” I asked in shock as I stared at the princess before me and my gaze went down to her stomach.

“What happened to you? You look like you’ve been through hell and back,” Freya quipped.

“Why, thank you,” I replied sarcastically as I winced and began to hobble to the bathroom.

“Okay, sorry but I’m here for a favor,” Freya followed me into the bathroom.

“What is it?” I unbuttoned the coat and dropped it on the floor.

Freya’s eyes widened in shock at the bruising and wounds across my skin.

“Shit! Where you attacked or something? You should really get that checked out,” she said with slight fear in her voice.

I slid open the shower glass doors and turned to Freya with an exasperated look.

“Is there a reason you’re in the bathroom with me? I’m about to take a shower and I’m naked,” I deadpanned, too tired to play nice with her.

“Jeez, relax. I’ll leave, I just need your help first,”
