Leah POV

I got to my room, feeling very angry at myself. I trashed everything that was placed on my table.

That bastard! He hasn’t changed at all. All he cared about was power. He looked down on us and talked down about Damian but he was still here trying to land a deal with him. I sincerely hoped Damian had finally come to a conclusion about what he wanted to do about Thomas. It was really a bad idea leaving him to roam freely about in the territory and the mansion.

I didn’t need a priest to tell me what he actually wanted from us.

It was the mined lead and Damian’s ideas for the weapons.

I closed my eyes and took deep breaths to try to calm my nerves.

My room door opened and Evelyn walked in.

“Princess, you seem to be very angry at Alpha Thomas,” She stated.

“I have every reason to be, Evelyn,”

“But you speak to him like you have known him for a very long time and I find that rather intriguing,” She commented.
