Guinevere's POV

The soft light filtered through the curtains, gently illuminating the room as I turned over, my body sinking into the sheets. I blinked slowly, feeling groggy as my eyes adjusted to the light. My head throbbed with a dull ache that only seemed to worsen as I sat up.

"Ugh," I groaned, pressing the heel of my hand to my forehead. "I really need to stop drinking that damn wolf alcohol."

As I glanced around the room, a wave of confusion hit me. This was my room at the Shadow Fang pack house. But the last thing I remembered was being at the bar, drowning in alcohol. How did I—
