**Audrey's POV**

"She's the one." Jacob snarled, pointing a crooked finger at me while the huge man whose scent seemed to be attacking my nostrils stared at me with a brooding expression on his face.

I silently hoped that it was just my imagination, and that Jacob wasn't trying to sell me.

But as soon as the thought crossed my mind, he asked; "How much are you willing to give?" I wasn’t sure if it was the way he said it or the look on both of their faces but I instantly felt my breath hitch in my chest.

The man seemed hesitant, but after a few moments, said "fifty hundred."

"Well I’d take that, seeing as she’s really not important in my pack." He murmured under his breath while pointing to me disdainfully.

I felt hurt, as if he had just stabbed me in the heart.

Nothing he did surprised me anymore, yet this was the height of it, the fact that he wanted to sell me and was bargaining my price like I was worth nothing hurt.

I suddenly wanted to scream at him. To make him understand that he hurt me but I didn't because I knew that it would make him know that I was feigning amnesia.

The man offered the money to Jacob, and he collected it with a gleeful smile across his face.

I visibly stiffened as soon as Elora walked into the room with a snug smile on her face.m as she stared between Jacob and I.

From where I stood, I could see the way her eyes moved slowly along the length of the huge guy’s body and then she sighed dreamily. The slut!

"Is the deal done?" She purred sexily as she sat on the seat next to Jacob, but didn’t take her eyes off the huge man.

"Yes, she was bought for an easy price." He replied cockily; and then with a proud grin on his face, he gave her a sound kiss on the lips.

I felt my heart sink down to my stomach for the nth time today, as I felt all the pain returning.

"You can use her however you want, she's an omega who became a slave, and so does not have any worth whatsoever." She smirked while watching me.

In anger, I clenched my fists tightly, feeling my nails dig into my skin, but I didn’t care. All I cared about was smacking Elora hard across the face so that she gets a feel of what I’ve gone through.

I tried desperately to suppress the blinding rage I felt, and forced myself to calm down. It was hard to control myself, since I could feel everything inside of me burn and boil.

My hands began shaking uncontrollably, my jaw clenching tightly as I held back all my emotions, and slowly I felt a drop of tear fall from my eyes.

They were going to kill me, or worse torture me, or use me the same way a purchased slave is used.

He stood a little too close to me, bent down and whispered in my ear, "It makes me extremely glad to see you this helpless."

"The faint that you lost your memories wouldn’t save you from all the wrath I have in store for you. Do not bother about me from now though, your new master is a brutal Lycan king who I am sure would make you pay for every penny he spent here today." He added.

"You might even be made his sex slave though, I don’t care." He whispered. I could feel my fist clench and unclench continuously while I tried to keep myself from attacking him.

He walked away with a smile, leaving me with a smug looking Elora and my buyer who kept staring too intently at me; it made me uncomfortable.

Elora stood up with a smirk. It suddenly occurred to me that she must’ve suggested this to him, with the way she looked extremely happy about all of this.

I winced in pain when she hit me and felt tears form in my eyes, but I didn’t let it drop. There was no way I would let them see me cry.

Her grin only grew wider as she turned and strutted away from me.

"Get ready to leave when he does, he owns you now." She ordered.

"Slave." She spat.

She slammed the door shut, making sure that it sounded so loud that it made my ears throb.

As soon as the door slammed closed, I turned to face the man who had bought me only to notice that his eyes were already in me, burning holes into my head.

He had this weird energy, something I couldn't quite place my hands on. It almost felt like he was someone I was familiar with even though I’d never met him in my life.

But I didn't care about that right now, my rage and anger at the fact that I was just sold by Jacob emerged again.

My knuckles slowly turned white from clenching my fists too tight, but I didn’t care either.

"Go and get your belongings if you have any, come with me. I don't have all the time in the world." He drawled and I nodded before I immediately walked out of the room.

I knew that I didn't have much clothes or belongings, Jacob made sure he burnt that, but I still left the room pretending to go get my stuff because I needed some alone time to think about the fact that I was just sold.

It still felt quite foreign to me.

I paced around the kitchen thinking of what to do. I thought of a way to escape, but I couldn't think of any way to carry out that plan seeing as I had nowhere to go; even my mind too was blank at the moment, making it quite impossible to begin to formulate plans.

"Where the heck is this worthless slave?" I swallowed when I heard Jacob's voice bellow out from the corridor.

He walked into the kitchen and I stepped back as he walked towards me with a glare.

Before I could form a word to defend myself, he hit me, sending me flying against the wall and knocking all of my stuff over. I whimpered, holding my ribs which suddenly began to hurt like hell.

His lips curled, seemingly proud of what he had just done to me.

"You shouldn't make a client wait." He yelled, making me flinch.

I bit the inside of my cheeks to stop me from crying, the thought of being treated in such a horrible manner, made me feel sick, I started to shake.

"You're pathetic, you should be grateful I didn’t throw you into the river." He snarled.

My chest tightened, I tried hard to contain my emotion, but I couldn’t. I desperately didn't want him to get more satisfaction from inflicting me with so much pain than had gotten already.

"You don't deserve my attention." He snapped.

He looked at me, he reached up and grabbed my chin forcing me to look at him, but I refused.

When his calloused hands grabbed at my chin, I growled angrily but then I held myself, knowing fully well that I wasn’t strong enough to take him on.

The last thing I expected was for Jacob to pull my head towards him roughly and slap me across the face.

"Now get up and go." He growled.

I stood up shakily, trying my best to cover up the bruise forming on my cheek with my blouse.

My legs trembled so badly, but I managed to stumble outside, not daring to look him in the eyes until he shut the door.

Jacob's words rang through my head, and I vowed to make him pay for everything somehow.

As soon as I walked into the throne room, I saw the man seated; but when I came in, he immediately stood up and dragged me out with him.

I jerked my hands out of his as soon as our hands connected, for I immediately felt a spark run up the length of my arm.

It was impossible to think, so what the Fuck was happening!

  • The Revenge Of A Rejected Mate   Epilogue

With my hands planted firmly on my waist, I stared confusedly at the two crying babies in front of me and no matter what I did or said to calm them down, nothing seemed to be working. Seemingly Lost in confusion and not knowing what to do, I tried hard to comfort the crying babies in front of me but they instead laid, crying tirelessly that at a point, I did not know what else to do for they could not stop crying. I carried one of them in my arms and began to rock it gently, the other laid in the crib built for the two babies. I continued this way, giving turns to each of them as I held them in my arms attempting to get them to fall asleep but they wouldn’t. That did little to make them quit though and I grew frustrated but I knew I could not give up. I had tons of work to do, a lot of paperwork also and the thought of attending to those immediately after dropping these kids filled me with so much tiredness that I felt I would drop dead. Since the takeover from Jacob, there

Audrey's POVFeeling happy and fulfilled that I had fulfilled my words and that I had been able to Kill Jacob in the exact way I had imagined it, I smiled to myself thinking of how this was the first time I felt like I had done something worth deserving as I stared down at his decapitated body which was now covered in a of his own blood, and could vividly see the hole I made on his heart.A smile got stuck on my lips and I couldn't let it go. I allowed it, wondering why Ian had this weird stare on me."You finally killed the predator, after being the prey for so long. You're taking over the predator's land." I muttered to myself as I stared at his blood dripping neck, making trails as I walked, I wanted them to see that I had killed Jacob and ended his reign of terror and destruction.I walked out to the corridor where she listened to the silent gasps and the scared look on the faces of the people.I held the head in my hands and showed it to the people."This marks the end of this he

  • The Revenge Of A Rejected Mate   Chapter 121

Audrey's POVI knew Jacob was a bit surprised that I had smiles all over my face, despite the fact that he had a knife pressed on my neck.He was a bit stubborn and I wondered what I would say to him that would make him move the knife away from my neck despite all the white lies I had told him. It was a little confusing to watch him and the cynical smile on his face and at the same time, I was bothered because I knew he was psychotic and could do anything."You could just remove this knife, I would surely guarantee your safety." I said quietly as he pressed the knife deeper into my neck, it was hurting but I couldn't let out a tear, knowing that it would mean defeat and I hated being defeated by clumsy enemies such as Jacob. "Do you expect me to believe you?" He retorted sharply as he pressed the knife, adding a little force to it. When he wasn’t watching, I tilted my head slowly, in a bid to pull my neck away from the sharp blade. "Come on, you have my word, I would surely beg Kad

Kaden's POVI loved the fact that Logan had to turn against his pack, knowing fully well that Jacob turned them against him. Having killed some of his men, Logan grew tired of killing and felt like setting it amicably. They surrounded him as he let down his guard, he told his men to do the same as they all stopped fighting, Jacob's soldiers were afraid, I guess filled with that thought that they were just leading them to a trap."Why won't you fight us?" The Chief guard questioned as the guard paved the way for him to walk through. "I can't, we can keep on wasting our strength on each other when the real devil is up there watching us." Logan explained, wondering how Logan tends to make this work, it would be hard and it might get ugly. "What do you mean?" The Chief guard was confused. "Jacob is a man that would surely have you all killed if need be. He wouldn't hesitate to threaten the lives of your family if you dare flout his orders" Logan uttered, wearing a smile on his face, ho

Kaden's POVI felt uneasy, knowing that I had my reservations with Audrey's plot, but I had to give in, she had it all planned out and now that I thought about it, mine had loopholes. If we had attacked Jacob as I planned, he would have escaped or better still led us into one of his unforseen traps which would leave us in jeopardy; harming my men, weakening my manpower and having a strong hold on my resources. But with Audrey's plot, she handles on the inside, while we take care of his men outside which would make everything even and provide Jacob with an extremely slim chance of escaping or having to use someone as bait while trying to escape. "I just hope Audrey succeeds with her plan, I'll take care of these ones here with my own plan," I muttered to myself, knowing that my men were also waiting for my signal.I assured myself, rigging off every fear and trying to remain at peace as I waited for a signal to show that Audrey was in trouble. For now though, I hadn't felt any pa

  • The Revenge Of A Rejected Mate   Chapter 118

AUDREY’S POVI waited for Jacob’s reply to my sarcastic but true comment about the palace but it did not come, the intent of it had not fazed him a bit I noticed and I began to wonder what went on through his mischievous mind. Jacob gently placed his arm around my back and I flinched at the feel of his strong arms around me but let him guide me to a chair close to his throne. Surprisingly he had not still said anything in reply to the view I had concerning the place, perhaps he had sensed the sarcasm in my voice even though I suspected that he knew what I said was true. He acted really sweet towards me while I acted according to the script I was writing in my mind.I sat down calmly on the chair he had offered me and he sat on the enormous throne. We started to talk and he asked about my trip there, asking if I had any troubles on my way. I sweetly replied to him, not forgetting to remind him of how I was capable of taking care of myself. I wondered why he and Kaden always felt that
