Chapter 93

Audrey’s POV:

I was euphoric about my newly earned freedom; so happy that amidst what I had imagined to be my brutal end turned out to be sort of another chance given.

The thought of being vindicated from all that I had gone through and most especially the problem with the council elders filled my heart with immeasurable joy. I was also happy about Kaden’s survival, for a minute I thought I had lost him forever but it seemed unlikely as he turned out to be my hero after all.

I pulled Kaden into a hug, not being able to have enough of him. Reveling in the good feeling of being in his arms after a long time, far too long; I remained there for a while. He knew this too and he comfortably accommodated me every time I threw myself at him.
