**Scarlett's POV**

“Huh?” His question caught me by surprise. I didn't know how to react or what to say.

“What kind of question is that? If she didn't mean it, would she have said it, or are you thinking she did the same thing Cassandra did?” Arnold asked, and I began to wonder the same thing.

Did he actually think I would act just to get on his good side? Why would he think this way after everything he told me at the waterfall? This got me wondering whether he meant what he said or he was just making a fool out of me like he always did.
