KYRA'S POV

As I stared at the guns that were on the floor in front of me, the anger that I felt vanished into thin air, and a feeling of awe enveloped me at Once. I didn't know what to think and. Neither was I entirely convinced about what was in front of me but then, there was no better explanation.

"Where did you get this?" I asked again with keen interest. I wanted to know how he came to have ownership of it especially as we've never had interactions with the humans though I have head of some who had met them. He smiled for a few seconds, leaving me confused as to why he was smiling. I wanted to snap at him but I changed my mind. Allowing him bask in the moment was the best deal I could come up with.

"These were given to us by an old friend of my father whose daughter lives amongst the humans!" He explained as he picked one of the weapons and handed it to me while he gave the other to Ace. The feel of if against my hand was heavenly and I just didn't want to lay it down
