CINDY'S POV

The moment I got into my room, I slammed the door right against myself, turning the key through the lock after which I returned to the bed, sitting heavily against it.

"The nerve that good for nothing has to try to reveal my little secret to Rahl. I began to imagine how he would have reacted to it and that alone sent chills through my spine. Jr would be so mad and wouldn't hesitate to Kill me. I was panting heavily. And it took. Ne a few seconds to regain my breath. A sharp feeling of thirst on my throat and the search for water began. I soon found a glass sitting pretty on the bedside table. I smiled as I gulped down the content of the cup, glad that I didn't have to leave where I was before getting it. The thought of rising from where I was seemed rather absurd to me. I cleared my throat and then laid on my bed with my head to the ceiling.

"Wait, how did he come to know about my little secret? How did that happen? Just how?" I wondered, fiddling with my fi
