Chapter 5

I woke up with a splitting headache, I held my head with both hands sitting upright  as I shut my eyes closely. I winced in pain as the headache gripped me once again.

I felt a cold towel napped gently on my head, I tried to recognise the scent but I couldn't. I snapped my eyes open immediately to behold a tiny whitish skin lady who has the most beautiful smile I've ever seen.

"My lady, how are you feeling?" She asked gently in her tiny voice.

I smiled gently at her while I removed the towel from my head.

"I'm feeling better thanks" I gushed at her.

"Should I bring you the hangover soup the alpha requested for you?" She asked, blinking her eyelashes.

I waved her off while staring at her, she looks like a moon goddess to be precise. She looks pretty good in the maid uniform which was white with touches of red on it.

"What's your name?" I asked her to remove the duvet from my body.

"Navida, my lady," she said, bowing.

"Uhmmm okay prepare my bath" I told her simply by putting on the fluffy pink slippers I saw beside the bed.

She moved out of the room to the bathroom to have my bath prepared. I walked towards the window to clear my head out.

Everything that happened at the tunnel started flashing back into my memory as the cold breeze hit my flawless skin, my cheeks turned red as I remembered how he flipped me on his shoulder.

"Gosh!!" I tapped my forehead slowly.

"My lady you can come have your bath" Navida voice jolted me out of my thoughts.

I walked towards the bathroom loosening the button of the shirt I'm putting on, I entered the bathtub slowly letting the water flow through my body while I closed my eyes in pleasure.

"Hmmmm" I moaned out in pleasure as the water soothes my body.

"Would you like a shoulder massage my lady?" Navida asked behind me.

"I wouldn't want to reject that offer" I beamed at her not opening my eyes, I heard her footsteps behind me then I felt a slippery tiny hand on my shoulder massaging it slowly.

"Hmmmmm" I hummed out enjoying every bit of the massage while I relaxed my body slowly to her.

I closed my eyes enjoying the magic that comes out from her little fingers, the way her fingers moved in rhythm makes my body relaxed to her touch.

After some minutes she stepped back and I opened my eyes slowly giving her a questioning look.

She understood what I meant immediately. "I guess you might catch a cold if you stay too long in the water," she said quickly.

"Uhmmm that's true" I said in agreement to her point while I stepped out of the tub she already spread out the towel for me.

I wrapped the towel on my body before I stepped out of the bathroom while she trailed behind me slowly.

"You can take your leave now" I said to her immediately we got to the room.

"If I need anything I will ask the chief maid to send it through you" I said to her slowly while dampening my hair with another towel I picked on my way out of the bathroom.

"Okay my lady" she bowed to me before leaving the room.

I walked to the closet opening it…"wow" I exclaimed loudly. This looks like a clothing store where different designers were hanged accordingly.

I picked up a shirt that seems long enough to cover my body since I have nothing to wear.

I wore the shirt which stopped above my knee at least this is still much longer than the one I woke up with. I returned the towels to the bathroom as I made my way to the dinning room to stuff my stomach with something.

I opened the covered food on the dinning, the sweet aroma filled the air instantly. I picked the chopping stick and started feasting on the food.

Within a few minutes I had already cleared up the food on the plate. I bleached loudly and chuckled at my attitude. I gulped down the glass of water before moving towards the bedroom to rest my head a little since I don't really know my way around here.

I would have loved to sightsee but my fears of getting caught really made me lost.

"Hey" I heard a familiar voice behind me.

I turned back to behold my mate looking so dashing as ever……I smiled slightly at him.

"Are you okay?" He asked me gently to place my wounded leg on his lap to have a closer look.

"I'm fine" I replied curtly, hiding my face away in embarrassment.

"Wait let's get this treated" he said, standing properly on his feet before marching towards the closet to get the first aid treatment.

He applied the treatment to it slowly….. I bit on my lower lips to avoid me screaming cause it's stinging me badly.

Tears rolled down my eyes as I shut it tightly.

"Does it stings that much?" He asked with a voice filled with pity.

I managed to nod my head In response. I could feel some hot breeze on my foot, I opened my eyes sharply to see him blowing the breeze on it so as not to sting me.
