Chapter 97

Third POV.

“Morning,” Amaya greeted the people who were having breakfast at the dining table.

“Morning,” they murmured but Aiden remained silent.

He continued eating his food without even lifting his head to look at his mate.

Seeing his attitude, Amaya rolled her eyes as she dragged the nearest seat so that she could sit down. She was also happy that it wasn’t Leila who had control as she would have been hurt by indifference.

“Why haven’t you left already? I thought that you were leaving?” Aiden asked without casting a single glance.

“Why should I leave?” Amaya asked as she glanced at him but upon seeing that he wasn’t bothering to look at her as he spoke, she was angry and vowed that she would cast a glance on the cold-hearted man.

“Because as long as you are here, a lot of people will end up dead. You just bring bad luck anywhere you go,” he said, making the people present hold their breath as they were afraid they would also be involved in their argument.
