Third POV.

Leila did not dare go to Aiden’s room. She went to her sisters. Even though she could go to Aurora, she did not want to for fear that Aurora might also blame her for her father’s kidnapping and end up hating her.

She laughed at herself since she had become stronger than before but after what happened today, she knew that she was just lying to herself.

Too broken to handle anything and afraid that she might think too much and end up being a crying baby, she gave Amaya control and locked herself up before lying on the couch.

Aiden had walked to his study since he was afraid that he would find Leila in the bedroom.

He closed his eyes as his fingers ran in his hair in frustration. Everything that happened today rang on his mind making him feel as if he could punch someone.

He knew he was at fault. Even without being told by anyone, he knew that if he had listened to Aurora nothing would have happened to his father, the warriors who died would still be in the gym practicing
