Injected

Mirabel's eyes instantly flicked open when she noticed the presence of another person in her ward. She let her eyes hover around her room in search of the uninvited guest when she caught sight of a syringe directed toward her.

Her eyes widened in horror, she felt like all the oxygen in her system had disappeared into thin air. Mirabel was scared to her bones with just the sight of the already-filled syringe coming closer and closer to herself.

She let out a strangled scream and began to adjust on her bed, her eyes still trained on the sharp needle on the syringe.

"Get it away from me! Take it off me" she screamed out, struggling to get out of her bed, the person bringing the syringe towards her did not stop for a moment. He or she was bent on pushing the syringe into Mirabel's skin.
