CHAPTER SEVENTY-FOUR

Noah's Pov

"What?" I asked, confused.

Colin stood up slowly, and his eyes stayed fixed as he rose; following my expression and smirking strangely.

But he didn't respond. He only stayed smiling. Before he dropped the stick in his hand and began moving backwards slowly.

I glanced at him from the drawing on the sand and frowned even more confused.

The shape was familiar, the lines, the dots. It looked exactly like the mark on Myra's neck. The mark of an Omega.

I looked up at Colin again, but his back was already turned to me now. He grunted as he moved briskly back towards the pack house, and I watched him with my breathing suddenly erratic.

I didn't know what to make of it. I didn't know why he had drawn this sign. I had no idea what he meant by the day of Reckoning.

I only found myself dust ridden and covered to my arms in sand, with my nose trickling blood and my mind swallowed in cluelessness.

"Colin!!!" I yelled, almost insane. "Colin!!!"
