"Stay behind me," He said sternly, glaring at the group of rogues who stood before us.

With worry etched on my face, I cautiously went behind him like a damsel in distress and I watched as he rolled up his sleeves.

"We came in peace, get out of the way, we want to see your Alpha," He said with a gentle tone but it seemed they didn't want peace. They were six in number.

Though I trusted Conan's capability, one against six isn't a situation to be trifled with.

"I really don't fancy doing this with you, just let me see your Alpha," He repeated but they didn't want peace.

They laughed out loudly at what he said like it was the funniest joke of the century.

"Retreat or face the wrath," they threatened and I pinched Conan lightly but he wasn't willing to retreat.

"I won't retreat," Conan said and held my hand before walking towards them.

They stood before us and palmed him on the chest when he tried to get past them and he still remained calm.
