Another visit to the rogues

Ryan was still angry as we had stopped her from going to the palace. He hit his hand against the wall angrily and I was a bit shocked.

I looked back at Conan who was so relaxed on the couch, asking him if he wouldn't come back and pacify his friend.

“What? He will come around soon,” he mouthed.

When Conan wouldn't budge, I moved closer to Ryan, comforted him and luckily he listened to me. I walked him back to the couch and quickly went in to get the first aid box to tend to his wound. I finished attending to his wound by putting a bandage on his hand.

“Thank you, Jade,” he said.

“You are not welcome, Ryan. Can we now have a better conversation?” I asked him, moving away from him and taking my seat across from him and Conan.

Conan only stared at us without saying anything. After a while, he cleared his throat and turned to Ryan.
