Chapter 4: Finally Someone Responsible & Current Situation

Su Lan woke up with tears in her eyes and her other soul's memories. She was in disbelief and joy. Finally, finally there was someone responsible! After all the irresponsible attacks from the gods, the system, and the pet! Su Lan was tearing over the message the angel left her.

Su Lan never thought that one day she would be filled with joy to the point of tearing just because of a detailed explanation from her great (50x) grandfather's angel assistant. Apparently, the angel, knowing just how unique her great (50x) grandfather's personality is, felt pity for both himself and her so, he left a message. As an angel buried in work and never ending overtime because of a certain someone, he knew how Su Lan would feel after coming to this world.

Su Lan was grateful but at the same felt goosebumps hoping she wouldn't end up like the angel.

Thinking of the angel, Zhen Lei’s (his name means Lei as in Thunder and surname Zhen as in rare)  image that was shown in her mind caused Su Lan to shiver.

Su Lan (In her mind): His parents really gave him a bad and fitting name for his current condition. (Zhen Lei pronounced differently in Chinese can mean really tired).

Although Zhen Lei was certainly an angel in character and reality, his visual image was horrifying. He had dark circles that cover a third of his face. His face was as pale as a ghost with dead fish eyes from overwork. Zhen Lei looked like he would pass out at any time. In the image that was shown in her mind, he had stacks of paperwork circling around him. In fact, Su Lan thought she had seen a revengeful spirit coming from hell instead of an angel.

Su Lan shook her head and threw the image out of her head. She started to put what the angel said together about this world before going through Su Lan's memories from this world.

Yes, her soul here had the same appearance and name.

Zhen Lei's Explanation:

This world is called An Bao (Tranquil Gem). A world created by the 7 gods. The world was split into 3 different levels: mortal realm, cultivation realm, and celestial realm. The god realm was in separate space.

The mortal realm is also known as the magic realm. Most of the people in this realm are normal people and some of them have magical powers based on the 5 main elements. Of course aside from the 5 main elements there are other rare types of magic like thunder, ice, space, and etc.

The magic and sword level is divided by 7 stages and each stage is divided by 7 levels:

(lowest level) Yellow -> Green -> Orange -> Red -> Blue -> Purple -> Black (highest level)

Once a person reaches Black stage level 7 they can break through to a higher realm. The next higher realm is the cultivation realm where everyone changes from magic to cultivation.

In the mortal realm it is separated into four main groups: Beast, magicians, fighters and normal humans.

In the south of magic realm is where the beast lived their levels are separated into 7 stages:

Level 1-6 and then the last stage is legendary.

Su Lan finally got an idea of how the world was divided. She still wasn't sure of her current situation. She closed her eyes once more to go through her memories from this world.

Su Lan from this world is currently in the mortal realm. Her original self in this world could not use magic but had a body that was able to cultivate. The only problem was in the mortal realm no one knew about cultivation so everyone thought Su Lan was a normal child. She was picked up in the snowy mountains by an adventurer as a baby.

The adventurer took her back home and raised her in the mountains until she turned 5 years old. He taught her to use the sword since she had no magic ability. The adventurer told her he had something he needed to do on her 5th birthday and brought her to a friend's house. He asked his friend to help him raise her until he came back. His friend agreed and took her in. She waited for 8 years but he still had not returned. Su Lan still thinks the adventurer was her real father. The adventure's friend only had a son so he regarded Su Lan as his real daughter. His son also pampered Su Lan. His wife passed away giving birth to Lui Ran (his son).

The adventurer's friend's name was Lui Shan, the prime minister of Wind Kingdom. The Mortal realm is divided into 3 levels: Low Rank kingdoms, Middle Rank Kingdoms, and High Rank Kingdoms. Wind Kingdom is considered a Low Rank Kingdom near the mountains. Su Lan's lifestyle can be considered to be extremely simple.

Su Lan opened her eyes thinking her soul here can be considered a genius and an idiot. She found out there wasn't anyone that poisoned her. It was herself that ate some poisonous plant trying to test its medical effects. Su Lan from this world was obsessed with medical knowledge to a point she would even use herself as a guinea pig to experiment. Lui Shan knew she loved medical knowledge and built a large medicinal garden with many rare plants. He also bought many rare books on medical knowledge for her. Su Lan stared into space and felt like crows flying across her head.

At this point of time, Lui Ran went to a high rank kingdom, Light Kingdom, for schooling. Lui Shan came running back from work because he found out she once again poisoned herself. He was currently working from home. Su Lan looked at her pink room and couldn't help but smile. Lui Shan and Lui Ran thought because she was a girl she would like pink so, everything they purchased for her was pink. Su Lan from this world was always in her own medical world that she blocked everything else out. Su Lan felt warm because of how Lui Shan and Lui Ran treated her. Su Lan decided since both of the souls were her, she would treat the Lui Family as her true home.
