Chapter 3

Author’s POV:

There was an accident on the street. Few were injured in the accident. The inspector, went there and asked his junior in post, John to say. “The situation is really horrible, sir. Three people are injured among them one is in critical situation. The car driver is over there.” Isaac went to the driver and asked “Are you ok?” “Yeah, thank you”, replied the driver. He also added that “It was not my fault. I became confused because of the traffic light. It was trembling and suddenly turned green. Then the bike came from nowhere and hit my car”, he was saying all these at once. The inspector assured him and told to calm down. He also allowed him to go and ordered him “Come to police station whenever I call you.” “Ok sir”, saying that he went away from the spot. 

“Hello, sir” a lady scientist welcomed the head scientist of the powerplant. “Hi, Sunney. How are you doing” asked the scientist while walking with towards the head chamber of the powerplant. “Doing good, thank you sir”, replied the lady scientist.  “Dr. Jackson, hello my dear friend”, said Dr. Sheen in the head chamber. “Good to see you, friend. How are you?”, Dr. Jackson asked his friend. “I am fine. Let’s go”, saying that Dr. Sheen opened a secret door from the head chamber. Dr. Jackson, Dr. Sheen and the lady scientist Sunney walked through and were talking. They used a lift that to go two hundred foot down from the surface of the earth. They reached to their destination. There a boy was senseless in a booth made of glass and there was water filled the booth and the boy was connected with some wires and tubes. Pointing the boy Dr. Sheen said “We are really hopeful this time”. Dr. Jackson said “Wish for your success. You know, this is your last chance”. “I am not worried this time”, said Dr. Sheen.

Jerry and his mother were having their dinner at the dining table. “Are you ok, son?”, asked Lusie. Jerry shacked his head and replied in the affirmative. “Have you planned something for this summer vacation, honey?” Lusie asked again. “No, mom. Just will hang out with friends”, answered Jerry. Lusie shacked her head and addressing Jerry as dear she said that it was ok. After some moments she again asked jerry if he could remember anything about that incident. Jerry was silent.

“Let’s meet tomorrow, Zen”, Deisy asked to Zen. Zen was hesitating and said that he had to go somewhere for some work. Then she told him that she wanted to go with him. Though he was to really willing to take her there, he said OK, let’s go. And also informed her that it can be late light to return home. “You will be with me, right? Then I have nothing to worry about. I have faith in you”, said Deisy. 

“So, according to there was some kind of issue with the traffic light for which you became confused”, inspector Isaac was talking to the car driver. “Yes sir, there was”, replied the car driver. “But unfortunately, we could not find any problem in that traffic lights, isn’t it, John”, Isaac said. “Yes, sir. There was no problem” replied John. At that time, some news sound of TV came to them where the reporter was saying that the man who was in ICU, was out of danger. Hearing that the inspector smiled looking at the driver and said that he was lucky.

Dr. Jackson was discussing about the project-11 with Dr. Sheen and was walking towards his car. Few moments later Dr. Jackson informed Dr. Sheen “I had a call from the department last night. I have to hurry”. “What about the startup of the project-11?” Dr. Sheen asked Dr. Jackson politely. “Congratulation, you are getting few more days to get prepared fully before my switching the startup button. See you soon”, after saying those Dr. Jackson entered into his car. Then the car started to move.

Dr. Sheen called Sunney and ordered to meet him at the laboratory as soon as possible. Sunney was in her house and was about to leave for office the powerplant. After an hour she was in the laboratory and found Dr. Sheen was reading the project details. “Good morning, sir”, Sunney said to Dr. Sheen. “Yeah, Good morning, Sunney. We have got some more time to get prepared for the project-11”. “Where is Dr. Jackson?”, asked Sunney. He has gone to support some other of his businesses”, replied Dr. Sheen. He also added “He will be back soon. By this time, I want to re-check each and all nuts and screws of the project once again”. He further ordered Sunney to make sure that this to happen with one hundred percent perfection. “Ok, sir” politely answered Sunney.

An old woman was walking through a jungle that was beside the powerplant. She went to the main gate of the powerplant and asked the gate man to open the gate. There were three guards. One of them asked “Who are you, and whom do you want?”. “I want to meet to the chief”, replied the woman. The guard again asked “Who is the chief, you think?” “Dr. Sheen I suppose, I want to meet him” answered the woman. Then the guard told her that she could not meet him from there. Also suggested her to take an appointment first then to come. The woman ignorantly said appointment! And then started laughing.  Another guard shouted to stop laughing and ordered to go away from there. The woman went away but before that she told them that she will be back. 

From a distance the woman came back there again. Seeing her the guard said “Why are you here again. Can’t you hear us. You cannot meet Dr. Sheen from here. You need an appointment”. Hearing that the woman said no, addressing him as son she added that she had something important that she wanted to reach Dr. Sheen. Saying that the woman got out some packet from her dirty bag in her hand and said “Could you please, pass the parcel to Dr. Sheen”. The first guard asked “what’s in the packet?” “Something that is important to Dr. Sheen as well”, replied the woman. The guards looked at each other than received the parcel. Then the woman went away and again told that “See you sons”.
