Chapter 02

Maximillian is silently staring at the paper where his eyes are looking intently to the picture of Blaire that made his werewolves attention show up, his golden eyes that are rarely seen to the previous alpha.

"Master Max, you have an investors meeting this afternoon with Mr. Walter and Mr. Davidson at the Cantina La Martina. You also have---"

"Cancelled that investors meeting, i don't have this mood to meet some filthy humans at this moment. Just tell me what happened to our drug transaction from the Middle East to Romania." Maximillian cut off Legis who closed his scheduler, because Legis knew when his alpha and boss decided, he would never change his mind nor have a second thought about it.

"Our yacht from the Middle East loaded with our drugs and aphrodisiac are now heading to the Arctic ocean to board in Romania as of this moment, master Max. Are you going to visit the manor to check other container vans of our drugs and aphrodisiac transactions to another country in Europe?"

"We will drop by to the manor before visiting the village, cancelled all my fucking appointments this day." Maximillian said to Legis before putting down the curriculum vitae of Blaire on his desk and lean on his chair.

"Are you going to ask Diab about the emergence of your golden eyes, master Max?"

"No, i won't tell this to that old man. I don't fucking have the idea why this fucking gold eyes shows up, but if that old man knew about this, he will pester me about this." Maximillian answered Legis who understand his reason.

Legis also knew about the meaning of the golden eyes of an alpha, he was still curious why those eyes showed up to Maximillian, or who did Maximillian werewolves side reacts that made his alpha's golden eyes suddenly attained by his alpha, when some thoughts enters at Legis mind.

"Master Max, is it possible that your werewolves side react to that woman in lower department that made your gold--"

"Don't continue whatever you fucking want to say, Floyen. Why would a mere human be the reason for the sudden appearance of this fucking color of my eyes?" Maximillian stood up in his chair and face his transparrent wall where he can see the view of the city of Philadelphia.

"I'm sorry for saying this opinion to you master Max, but the appearance of your golden eyes happened when you approached the woman in the lower department. It means---"

"---are you saying Floyen, that i gain interest to that mere lowly human?!" Maximillian said raising his voice to Legis who bow down to him.

"Apologize for the words I said, master Max. But it is just a possibility that i mentioned." Legis said.

"Fired that woman." Legis slightly frowned his forehead for the sudden decision Maximillian told him to do.

"Why would i fired her, master Max? Is it becauase he showed rudeness to you or because you think the possibility i mentioned that she might be the reason your werewolves side reac---"

"Shut up Floyen, don'r questioned my decision. I am your boss and your alpha, my words should be absolute to you." Maximillian said as he glaring Legis who nodded at him.

"As you wish master Max, I will immediately fired that human in your company." Legis bow his head again to Maximillian before walking towards the door.

Maximillian dropped his gaze to his desk, to Blaire's information paper as he recalled the beautiful face of her, and the bizarre scent she had, when a sudden thought comes at Maximillian's head.

"Floyen." Legis stopped approaching the door and looked at to Maximillian who looked at him.

"Yes master Max."

"Let her stay at my company, I want to know if she really was the reason for the emergence of my golden eyes." Maximillian decided as he approached his desk and picked up the information paper of Blaire and stared at Blaire's picture.

"What if she is Master Max, are you going to accept that a mere human caught your werewolves side, and have the possibility that she can be your fated luna." Legis asks Maximillian.

"A mere human woman who made my golden eyes as an alpha appeared. A human...."

BLAIRE was uneasy walking back and forth in front of the mirror of the restroom she was at the moment, she was so worried to the thoughts that it might be her last day in Automaximus Innovation company because she was rudely talks back to her boss. Blaire didn't expect that the man she bumped a while ago is the C.E.O and owner of the company she was working at.

"You are so stupid, Blaire, in all people here in this company, why did you bumped the boss, and talks back at him? You'll lose your job because you failed to know your boss's face that you should respect. I am so stupid!" Blaire complained to herself facing the mirror and leaning to it.

"I just started working here, then I will be fired soon. It's okay for Mr. Morris scolded me, because I'm new to my job but I'm going to get fired because of my stupidity. What am i going to say to Steven when i tell him that i got fired on my job?" Blaire worries about what will happen to her.

"Oh my! What a pleasant sight I am seeing right now, are you crying because you'll leave the company for being rude to our boss?"

Blaire turns her look to Emily Smith, her superior who makes her life so hard when she starts working at the logistics at the lower department. Blaire was clueless why Emily is so hard on her, Blaire doesn't understand the attitude of Emily towards her.

"What I did is a pure mistake, i didn't know that he was the boss. I know it's my fault but---"

"Yeah, it's clearly your fault, so why haven't you arranged your things yet? Do you want to wait for someone to tell you to leave this company?" Emily smugly said to Blaire.

"I-I'm going to do that, but first Ms. Smith, tell me. Why did you tell me to throw the important documents that Mr. Morris told me to arrange?"

"You want the reason? Simple Ms. Adamson, i don't like you here. Your presence annoys me, your face disgusts me for some reason, i hate seeing nor staring at your ugly face." Emily's reasoning to Blaire.

At all the reasons Emily told Blaire, it was clear to Blaire that her senior was having the insecurities against her. Blaire sighed, because for her, Emily's reasons for hating her are childish and immature to do.

"That makes sense why you are happy knowing that i am now fired at this company, and if i didn't make this mistake, you will still do some sort of thing to make me out of your sight, right Ms. Smith?" Blaire asks Emily who smirks at her.

"Of course I do, you leaving here is what i am aiming for. Good luck to you Ms. Adamson in finding a new job." Emily said before storming out to the restroom and leaving Blaire with disbelief.

"That woman, i didn't do anything to her to treat me like this."

"She's insecure to your pretty face that's why."

Blaire immediately turned around to see her one of her co-worker in logistic come out to one of the cubicle in the restroom. Blaire recognize her co-worker who is also like her, experiencing bad treatments of Emily. But the difference is, Blaire is a newbie, yet her co-worker is a regular at the company.

"Ms. Taylor..." Blaire bow her head to her co-worker because in terms of positions, Adeline Taylor was ahead of her.

"Let's not be formal, just call me Adel." Adeline smiley said to Blaire.

"Emily was insecured to you because some male employees glancing at you. She hates the spotlight taken to her, she loves attentions of other people, especially men. So she will do anything that will ruin your reputation, or do something that will make you leave in this company." Adeline explained as she opened the faucet and clean her hands.

"And she was happy that i am now leaving this company because of my own stupidity."

"I think it's purely not your fault, your just new here and Mr. Grant rarely visits the lower department so most of employees at the lower doesn't know his face identity. But because our boss is a terror one, one mistake is sin to him." Adeline said before facing Blaire and smiled at her.

"I'm sad that you will leave this company because of a purely mistake, but i hope you find a good company." Blaire faint a smile to Adeline before they both go back to logistic area.

Blaire sighed as she start to clean her things on her desk, her co-employess at the logistics are staring at her, while Emily is happily watching her. Blaire was sad for leaving the company she was praying before, her joy being one of his dream company breaks at the moment she needs to leave because of one stupid things Blaire did.

"Make sure nothing of your things will left in your desk, Ms. Adamson." Mr. Morris ordered Blaire as she nodded in response.

When Blaire already packed up, she lift the box with her things and bow his head to all employees of the logistics area.

"Thank you for the short experience." Blaire said before she turned around and walked out in the logistics area.

Blaire stopped herself from crying while walking the hallway, she doesn't want someone to see her crying, she doesn't want anyone to stare at her in pity. When Blaire is now heading to the elevator that will bring her to the ground floor, as the elevator open, Blaire's eyes suddenly widened when she saw their boss inside the elevator who looks at her.

Blaire step back when Maximillian stepped out in the elevetor, Blaire can't say any words nor move in where she was standing while she was staring at Maximillian who also staring at her, and looks down in the box she was holding.

"What is that?"

"U-uhmmm, m-my things sir. I know i'm fired so i am now leaving the compa---"

"Who said that you are fired?" Maximillian cut her off that makes Blaire's eyerbrows frown.

"Excuse me?"

"Go back to your area, Ms. Adamson, or you really wish to leave my company right now."

"Are you saying sir that i'm not fired?" Blaire said in her teary eyes as Maximillian stare at her with his poker face.

"Did you not hear what i said?"

"I totally heard that sir, t-thank you so much for not firing me. I promise i will do my best aty work." Blaire said stopping herself to cry in front of Maximillian who suddenly get closed to her that makes her back lean on the wall.

Blaire looks at Maximillian with curiousity and a bit shocked because their bodies almost touched after Maximillian approacher her.

"Sir...."

Maximillian put his right hand on the wall and leveled his face to Blaire who was cluelessly of what he was doing.

"You're just a mere human, so why you." Maximillian said while staring at Blaire's eyes.

"Y-your eyes are turning into gol---"

"Fuck!" Maximillian immediately turn his back and step away from Blaire who was confused by what is happening, yet unsure if she really saw Maximillian's eyes change color.

"Go back to your area." Maximillian said as he walks away that instead of entering the elevator, Maximillian enters the door and uses the stairs to go back in his office leaving Blaire alone cluelessly.
