Chapter 01

"Here is all the information of all employees here in Automaximus, master Max. The higher department and lower department as you requested." Legis informed Maximillian as he put all the folders in his table where all information about all of his employees are listed.

Maximillian picked up the first folder and he started looking at every page to find the woman who bumped him in the ground hall of his company.

Maximillian doesn't care about people around him, especially if it's a human. He cares less about its species yet a random woman who works in his company makes him curious about the bizarre scent he smells that comes from the woman. The woman even talked back at him as if she's not aware that the one she was talking about is her boss.

"May I know who you are looking for, master Max?" Legis asks Maximillian while his boss and his Alpha are continuously scanning the folder he's holding.

Legis Floyen is a Beta, the second in command in their packs yet decided to come along and stay beside Maximillian as his secretary. Even though Maximillian is mostly staying in the city with humans, he is certainly not worried that his packs will be in danger by other werewolves, because no one of any packs tries to do bad things that they know what powers he can do to purge any packs who will dare to harm his people.

"A certain human who dares to talk back at me." Maximillian answered where Legis frowned his head in confusion.

"A human? There's a human in your company who dares to act rude on you, Master Max? Then do you want me to punish her, my liege?" Legis said.

"Tell me Floyen, is there any human you smell with a bizarre scent? A scent that can catch your attention." Maximillian asks while he is busy flipping papers in the folder.

"Human scents are the same for me, Master Max. We've been mixing with them, but there's no human with a bizarre scent i encountered that can catch my attention." Legis answered while staring at Maximillian, when a question popped out in his head because of their conversation.

"Is there a human with a bizarre scent that catches your attention, Master Max? Is that the human you are searching for right now?" Legis asks when he notice Maximillian suddenly stop flipping papers and intently staring at a piece of paper Maximillian take out in the folder.

"So she's from the lower department, working in the logistics as an assistant recently." Maximillian murmured and stood up in his seat, getting his suit and wear it before walking and storming out in his office.

Legis who was clueless to his alpha immediately follows Maximillian.

They both ride at the elevator going down to the third floor of the building. Maximillian is just silently standing waiting for the elevator to stop to the third floor, while Legis was curiosly glancing Maximillian.

"Stop glancing at me, Floyen."

"I apologize, Master Max, but i'm just clueless right now." Legis honestly answered to Maximillian.

"Don't give a shit about what i asked earlier." Maximillian ordered Legis who looked straight ahead of him.

"Apologies, Master Max."

As the elevator dropped on the third floor, as soon as the elevator opened, Maximillian walked straight at the hallway. Some employees on the third floor were shocked by the sudden visit of their boss. All of them are bowing and greeting Maximillian in respectful manners.

When Maximillian and Legis arrived at the logistics area at the lower department, Maximillian roam his eyes at the area to find the woman with a bizarre scent. Maximillian saw the humans busy doing their jobs, as he found the woman he aims why he suddenly headed at the lower department.

That woman are bowing to a male human while apologizing, but the male human never stops scolding the woman while throwing some papers on her. Maximillian clearly hears what the male human is telling to the woman who is enduring the harsh words from the mouth of the male human, while other humans in the logistic are just watching.

"It won't happen again Mr. Morris, i am really sorry." the woman said apologizing who was embarrased at that moment.

"Make sure it won't happen again Ms. Adamson, the company hired you to do a good job! Those papers you threw was very important reports, and now they are all scrapped in the trash."

"I'm sorry Mr. Morris, but I asked Ms. Smith about those documents, and when she told me to throw the paper---"

"And now you mentioned names to justify your wrong doing, Why would Ms. Smith told you to throw important documents huh?!" the male human cut off and snarl the woman who jut bit her lower lips and stopping herself to shed tears.

"Is the logistic department always noisy and a mess like this?"

All employees who was busy at their works looked at Maximillian when he spoke, all of their eyes widened in shocked to see the owner of the company they are working. Even the head of the department who was busy scolding the woman was shocked seeing Maximillian, and immediately run towards Maximillian to greet him.

"Mr. Grant, welcomed to the logistic department. What brings you here in the lower department, Mr. Grant?" the male human politely greeted and asked Maximillian who wasn't looking at him but to the woman who was just standing, bowing his head and didn't look at him.

"Do i need a reason to visit any of the departments here in the lower department?" Maximillian coldly asks the make species who flinched on the coldly stare of Maximillian that drops on him.

"O-ofcourse not Mr. Grant."

"Then stepped aside on my way." Maximillian coldly ordered the male human who quickly stepped aside at the corner.

Maximillian start walking, all employees are looking at him with confusion when they saw him stopped walking at the woman's front who looked up to Maximillian.

"W-wait? You are the man i bumped awhile ago, what are you doing here? Employees from other department are not supposedly can come in other depart---"

"Apologize to me." Maximillian cut off the woman who confusedly stared at him.

And again, Maximillian smell the bizarre scent of the woman that makes him feel the calmness in his body. Maximillian frowned his head in confusion while staring at the woman's face.

"Apologize to you? But i already did, i said sorry for bumping you."

"Ms. Adamson! Are you for real?! Why are you talking to our boss like that?!' The male human yelled at the woman.

" Boss? You are a boss?" The woman cluelessly asked Maximillian as the male human immediately run towards Maximillian side while glaring the woman.

"Stupid! He's Mr. Maximillian Grant, the CEO and owner of this company you are working! Show some respect will you!" The male human snort at the woman who slowly widened her eyes looking at Maximillian with a shocked expression on her eyes.

"O-owner? Y-you...oh my sir i deeply apologize for bumping you. It was really an accident, please forgive me sir." the woman quickly asks for forgiveness when Maximillian suddenly feels the chills on his body flowed from his veins.

Maximillian without a words turn his back to the woman and hurriedly leave the premises of the logistic department, leaving all of the humans wondering what they saw a moments ago.

"I think this will be your last day in your work, Ms. Adamson." Ms. Smith said looking at the woman with a smirk on her lips, that makes the woman more anxious for what will happen now that he did more grave mistakes that might loose her job.

Legis quickly follows Maximillian who quickly entered the elevator, Legis ran fast and get inside the elevator before it closed. Legis looked at Maximillian who was standing while it's right hand was placed on his face, covering his face.

"Master Max...."

"What's this Floyen, i feel a burning heat at my body. What is happening to me." Maximillian asks as he take off his right hand on his face and looked at Legis who widened his eyes while looking at Maximillian's face, that made Maximillian frowned his forehead.

"What the fuck you are staring at me like that, Floyen?"

"Your eyes, Master Max." Legis said.

"What about my fucking eyes?"

"It turns into color gold, my liege." Legis informed Maximillian who looked at the elevator wall that can reflect an image.

Maximillian stood still, as he found out the golden color eyes of a werewolves from his own eyes.

"What the fuck?!"
