Chapter eight

She angrily moved forward as they led her to the same area where Daniel had been kept only that she was now far from him. The guns were now pointed at her head and it was distracting Daniel and he was getting beaten pretty badly.

She was angry and humiliated, she couldn’t imagine herself being the source of pain for him.

She turned to one of the goons, “shoot me… shoot me if you have the guts” she told him and she fixated his gun right on her head

“What are you doing Kathryn?” Daniel asked and this time when the man wanted to hit him, he bent and sent the man flying across the room into a pillar

“I said shoot me… or don’t you have the guts?” She asked with a smirk on her face and the man stared at her shocked

“You look like someone who’d just escaped a hospital.. you’re still wounded.. we don’t wanna kill you or your family would die “ he told her and she chuckled
