Chapter sixteen

“Kathryn!” He yelled as he rushed to her, seeing her that way made him feel so scared. Ironic wasn’t it? He was the same man that had planned to attack her to get the truth out of her wasn’t he?

He managed to pick her up as he kept on calling her name while he carried her upstairs, wondering how she could have fallen down the stairs. He knew she wasn’t that careless of a person.

Opening the door, he gently laid her on the bed as he went from cupboard to cupboard, looking for a first aid kit. After some time, he found one in the bathroom and quickly took it out.

After he was done cleaning her up, he placed a little kiss on her forehead before leaving.
