Chapter 13

The first stop Nicholas went to upon reaching the main city was the real Lance's house to park the car he borrowed from Laverna. Who knows? That woman could have put some tracker on it. Sa isang tawag lang niya, dumating agad si Victor para sunduan ang boss nila.

Pagkapasok ni Nicholas sa kotse, agad niyang sinabi kay Victor na dalhin siya kay Liraz.

“Anong nangyari? Akala ko matatagalan ka doon sa tabi ni Laverna,” tanong ni Victor.

“She is giving me two days as a break since we will be leaving the country next week. I do not know the details yet but I will inform you once I get them. How’s everything going so far?”

“Nothing worth mentioning. Wala pa namang nakakapansin na wala ka noong mga nakaraang araw. As for Liraz though… I think you should do better in consoling her.”

Well, Nicholas already prepared himself for that so before meeting with her, he bought a bouquet of flowers and some tiramisu that his girlfriend always loved. After 20 minutes, Victor parked the car in front
