48. PANIC

Immediately we landed, Bojana sent her suitcase to the hotel and went on another trip to a friend’s house. She had informed me earlier, so I was fazed when she branched out at the airport. She was so cold towards us, but I understood her and I didn’t want to disturb her. I wanted her to reach out to me after forgiving me herself.

“The bags will find their way to the hotel. Let’s go for dinner”, I motioned to her, and we went to the reserved restaurant in another car.

I have never left my work for personal reasons. Even on vacations, I still work because there are no resting days for a mafia, especially for a boss. I had to be on alert every time, so I didn’t lose my men and my territory.
